I am looking at getting new computers for my wife and I. This Kit didn't seem bad for the price. I would replace the Power Supply with at least a 700W.

Things I would add to it:
Arctic Cooling Pro 7-
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx
EVGA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB -

Maybe some more Memory. I think that would be about it.
What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Its a great price for what you get. Although I would go with a cheaper cooler in the $30-$50 range and get a better video card. Probably the 9600GT. A thermal-electric cooler isn't necessary unless you are planning for heavy overclocking. Also you need an OS that usually runs around $100-$150
Just remember there is a reason its cheap. AMD later this month is releasing new Phenom Processors with B3 Stepping that fixes problems with the L3 Cache. With this phenom you will have slower speeds because of problems with the L3 Cache. So Tigersdirect is trying to clear these out before the new ones come in. However, its not a noticable speed drop; so its still a worthwhile investment. Most of the parts of that barebones kit are parts tigersdirect is trying to clean out of inventory. It will most likely not be top of the line, but definetly good enough or great for most tasks. Especially at the price.
Dunno. Sometimes the kits are ok, but I've noticed, as I "window shop" for my next pc...I can often put together something better for the same price if I piece it together myself.
But sometimes you get a good deal with the mobo/processor and case. The power supplies are almost always crap...and any add on parts you can put with it are usually overpriced for what they offer.
So, I guess as long as you stick with the barebones barebones package, and add all the other pieces on yourself you might be ok.
