    Nice pics, but I'm extremely bored of everything AoC until they can show me a real crafting system in AoC instead of the wanna-be system in place atm.

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
    -Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

    Never, ever promoted the game as a crafters haven. Its a few levels above average for me but not a sim city type of complex.

    Down the road, who knows what will get added.

    That's why they had a live showing of the game at TG'08 with hundreds of people watching and everyone seemed quite happy with what they saw?

    Nice pics,  I already new graphics were great, specialy if u can take advantage of DX10. I have other concerns about this game, but we all have to wait and see whats coming.

    The landscape of this game really compete with Oblivion. (which is a lot to say) I don't have much hope for this game for many reasons, (funcom poor records in MMO's being one of them) but i gotta say they "might" surprise me at the end if their gameplay is as engrossing as their scenery.

    We need a good MMO on the 360 anyway, so best of luck to them!

    With such graphics, i think at least the equivalent of a phenom X4, a geforce 9800 gx2, 2gb of ram at least, would be required.

    Else, expect a diaporama.

    That is not true, at least for normal gameplay. Can't comment on sieges and very crowded battles yet.

    The very latest video drivers help a lot. For example, nvidia 169.44 are night and day difference compared to the 169.25 currently available from nvidia official site (aka Crysis boosting drivers). Also Vista SP1 had a positive impact on HD utilisation (for those that use the particular OS).

    For now, the ability of each individual regarding PC maintenance delivers a different experience, even on identical machines.

    And then, there is the (necessary at this stage) debug code.

    Age of Conan is so hands down the WoW killer, on all fronts- gameplay, environments, graphics, epic scope and it's about time!

    Wow, looks so sexy, lucky I got a top of the line PC. An mmo with these kinda graphics will need a lotta ram, luckily I got 4 gigs of it.

    No offense, but how the heck do you know the game "fails" on all levels? It doesn't even come out for another 2 months! LOL!

    You haven't even played the game, yet you are sort of "guarenteeing" it fails?

    I can't comment on the game itself. Know why? Because it hasn't come out yet. I haven't actually had an opportunity to play it. All I can say is this. In reading about the game features, it sure sounds interesting to me.

     Lets hope not, i want to kill a guy that doesnt log off to go post in forums "nerf this buff that" and instead adapts to pvp situations and gets faster and wiser at is playstyle.

    Anyone know if you can actually swim and stuff in this game? I ask because the landscapes and water look really awesome, but I am afraid the game will limit where you can go.

    Can you climb mountains, and swim accross lakes or out into the ocean if you want or does the game have invisible walls?

    The sleeper awakes...and rides his dirtbike to the mall.

    I understood (from watching all the AoC footage) that you can swim in all the water you see but climbing is limited to certain buildings, walls, rocks and so on. So yeah you can climb but with the necessary restriction and as far as swimming goes: knock yourself out, it's permitted everywhere.

    You can swim but I think alot of the mountains and stuff are off limits blocked by invisible walls. I've seen videos with alot of mountainous terrain. Not to sure maybe they have some nice mountain type zones for us.

    climbing is done via climb points...predesignated areas which you can climb....if i remember correctly...so no i dont think you can just go/climb/swim anywhere

    so it looks like Rangers/Barbarians/Assassins are gonna be better at it. Hope this is in PvP as well.
