ok I wasn't expecting good....but i was hoping for playable!
the manipulation of your character face was THE BEST I ever saw in 5+ years. I must say that was amazing. past that it blew.
control was horrid, graphics so-so for a space game but that's not what killed it 
YOU CAN NOT READ THE DAMN TEXT it is so small it's probably half a CM high. I mean I'm 23 not 83 I know my sight isn't THAT bad but I was humping my screen to read anything. Have some common sense people eyestrain ruins anything. I wouldn't play strip poker with supermodels if it hurt my eyes that bad.

gotta love the folks who judge a game rather harshly when it sounds like they've only been online in EVE for 10 minutes
Also, Im sorta curious if u seen a space mmorpg out there with better space graphics (or any other space game)....not to flame ya...but I dont see how you can say these graphics are so -so

what game is this? Aint Eve i tell u that much. Look i bitch alot about the game too.
But the graphics are so fine that u can zoom in 5 meters from you ships and see reflections.
U can change the font size
And control is point and click, right cliking brings up a list of where u can go. simple. Boring but not horrid.
So i guess that means u MUST BUY THIS GAME.
Hmmmm...Yeah. You can really tell Senedor played this game a really long time
. He complains about the small font size and the controls. He never talked about all of the other aspects of the game that make it such a good game. I'd say Senedor probably put in a good 5-10 minutes playing this game, maybe even less. If you're going to bash a game, at least put in a good week of playing, not a couple of minutes.

I think any response I could have said was covered already. :P So I'll just say this:

I have only played EVE for a few days now and I figured out how to change the fontsize and manuever the ship without any problems whatsoever. Just press ESC and change the settings for fontsize as well as many other things.
The game gives you all the walk throughs needed to understand it if you just bother to use them. Not to mention there are all kinds of rookie help areas out of game and a channel you are automatically put into in game.
Also not long after I started playing I was contacted by a person who is part of a volunteer in game help program. They asked me if there was anything I needed help with and made sure I had knowledge of some of the more dynamic asspects of the game ( clones, insurance, markets, learning skill increasers etc. ).
I had already discovered most of the features of the game they pointed out myself but for any of those who were not able to do so, that to would be helpfull.
I understand how a game with so much to it can overwelm someone a bit, but if you just slow down and look for the information you need it is not hard to find. Once you understand HOW to play the game it is hard not to appreciate and enjoy all it has to offer. Which is no small amount.
Partally true. You can increase the font size of SOME of the MENU's, but the rest of UI is fixed at a small pixel size. People complain about running it at 1280x1024 and having the modules switch button being 1mmx1mm across.
I agree with him that they need to add the ability to increase the font size, but its hardcoded into the client so its probably not going to happen anytime soon.
I play eve and enjoy it. THERE IS NO PERFECT MMORPG.
I play at 1280 x 1024, I can see everything just dandy...
His review and complaint are both lame...
You need to play EVE a minimum of 3 months to be able to review it...
If you get sick of it within 14 days, well then, it's not for you...

Sure the controls and camera are a little difficult to get a handle on, but if you keep at it they eventually become second nature, extremely intuitive, in my opinion. It sounds as if this fellow played the tutorial for 5 minutes and gave up
The problem might not be the font size but the blurry text you get sometimes when you start the game up for the first time. To fix that you press esc in game and slide the textile alignment bar until it clears up for you.
But judging by your post you have no intention of playing eve anymore so this was probably a pointless post.

I wanna like EVE myself, but it seems hard to know what to start doing once you finish the tutorial..... but i had the same problem with E&B so it must be how i am tward these types of mmo. It really seems like a great game though.
Yes. It is a very hard game to master as that is why I said that to Knives.
However, it seems that Knives22 thought I was making fun of him rather than talking about the learning curve of the game
