Currently undecided between Chanter, Ranger and Templar. All seem like classes I'd like to play but I'm waiting for more information on their abilities before I decide. Btw Spiritmaster is just one class that can summon fire, water, earth and wind elemental creatures.
Can't say right now, don't have a lot of info on the game/classes. To save me some time, does anyone have a favorite AION English language fansite that they'd recommend so I could go learn more about the game. So far all I've dug up is some nice screenshots, artwork and videos and I'm looking for more details on the classes and gameplay.
Who the hell are you, and why should I care? Congrats! You are a victim of Trollstar!

Information is very scarce, looks like they're not going to spill the beans until everything is written in stone.
I think these two sites have the most information regarding Aion:
This is my favorite setting (before fantasy). I don't want to read anything and be pissed before it is the time. Their PvPvE is likely to aggro the real Care Bear that I am, but...we will see.
In EQ I was a chanter...in CoX I was a brute...so...nothing is determined yet.

Goodness. How do you put up with the waiting? I can't, so I'll figure out which class to pick once I actually have the Aion character selection screen in front of me!!! Preparing or reading up more than what I have done so far would be torturing myself until it launches.
Here's to ignorance he he.
Edit: Why don't you add an "I don't know" or "I will see" option? Kinda forcing me to choose something, tsk tsk ;-)
I am fairly certain I'll choose Templar as my first job. I rarely play a tanking class in mmo games so it would be something fresh for me. I still undecided on which side to choose though. I guess I just need more info on them before choosing.
whats with the 3 spiritmasters? spiritmasters control 4 spirits and call each spirit everytime they need it depending on the situation, you're missing wind one, and I'd group all of them since its only 1 class with 4 spirits, not 4 classes with 1 spirit each.
Chanters wont be able to play the out of party Prophet role later on, if that's what your referring to, they must be in your party to give buffs, like the Warcryer.
Unless you just want to level 2 toons at the same time.
So so Excited about this game it canrt come soon enough for me ,I like the look and feel of the Ranger, but will probably make a few characters and play em all for a few levels to sort of get a feel for a class, it works for me I do it for most Mmo's.
I keep telling myself it's time to try out some magic user classes but just looking at the melee animations in this game it's impossible to decide. I'm so used to every other MMO I've played where all 20 of my melee class' abilities share 3 different animations. I'll probably just close my eyes and click on one...
il be Ranger because it owns. With ranger you can shout and run in the same time so its perfect for pvp all MMORPG wich i played i had a character with bow

Gladiator all the way
I have no idea yet.
I am interested to be surprised by this game.

At the moment of speaking I'd say Cleric but I'm not sure at all yet.
Got time

I'll most likely pick Sorcerer, though I may change to something more in demand as it looks like many people will be choosing Sorcerer along with me.
I doubt the results of this poll will be representative

I voted Gladiator but I have always been one to play the classes less played. So, I will see... when some good game info finally releases itself.

Cleric. Everyone needs (and loves) healers.
The Spiritmaster class sounds pretty interesting... I'd probably try that out first. Looking forward to this game!
definitely going to be an Assassin. I normally enjoy knight characters but Assassin looks fun in this game.
