May be too late, but the hat that you can get for finishing Weathertop makes a great costume piece.
LOL...that hat makes you look about as tough as a wet paper towel. While it is better than the first...I would suggest you keep looking. I have a hat that is comedy, but I can't get myself to show it in public.

As much as I love this game and the Turbine dev team I have never found a hat in it yet which I like.

I really though this thread was a reference to Dr. McNinja when I was the header. . .
I don't want to write this, and you don't want to read it. But now it's too late for both of us.
I like the hat with the big feather in it for any kind of cloth wearer. I agree though, the helms in general do tend to max out at OK, for some reason.
I've taken to trying on all the gray trash helms I find in my cosmetic slots, and found some crazy stuff. The other day I looted a (gray quality) purple spiked helmet in the rift. Don't have a screenshot, but it looked an awfull lot like the one that Otto van Bismark is wearing here:

I had to unsub a lil while back (2 months or so ago) because i lost my job and was lacking in funds but as i now am working again am starting to resub to the games i love was just wondering what servers u guys play on (U.S if you play on them ) I was on Brandywine i hope it is still kicking like it was when i was on.I had just bought me a house overlooking the Lake 2 i hope i still have it cause i know i only had a few gold left after fitting out my Kinship members so what happens if you run out of cash and cant support your house rental cost? Looking forward to playing again i have missed this game so much lol.

Brandywine is alive and kicking...and screaming...and cheering...and shouting, it is the most populated server so never you fear about it going anywhere.
When you can not afford to pay your rent, you lose your house just like IRL. So if you did have a house previously, unfortunately it is probably bye bye.
