i played cabal for about 20mins then got bored, i cant say the graphics are up to date and there is big lag in cities.
Now i dont wana bitch about why i dont like the game, i just wana know what people like and hate about it.
So plz tell me what r the good points about cabal and bad points e.g. Lag, Botting issues, lack of patch, lack of admin. So i can see what the game is like through a expirenced cabal gamer.

Well, i have to say that it's the best freemmo ive ever played, and because it has cool effecs, ype i agree you get bored after awhile. anyone know a good free-mmo btw?? :P
hihi!"#?%&/
For a free MMORPG - I like Perfect World.
I don't get a lot of lag in the cities. I've noticed a lot of people getting lag when I don't though. I suspect it may have something to do with how your ram is set up? Or maybe your server connection? I have a cable connection in a neighborhood with view other cable computer users.
Not sure what game you played but that doesn't sound like the Cabal I have being playing for the last month. I played Open Beta into release and I think the game is great. I have played a few free MMO's and haven't like any of them untill now. First off the so called LAG that you were experiancing where the heck was that? I mean the only lag I ever got was when I entered the trade channel and there were hundreds of player owned shops set up in one area. Other then that, there is no real lag, maybe it is my computer, or maybe it is the server I was on on or the Channel, but since I have being on a high pop server this entire time going to the same channel each time I have never had a lag issue.
Why is Cabal good, its hard to say, the choice that you can grind if your into that, or you can do the quests. Character development is well done as well, your skills have being very well thought out. The Battle modes and auras are very well done as well. The graphics are not as good as a game like Gears of War but they are good and easy for most machines to run. This game is ment for many levels of gamers, not just hard core nerds. The combat system is great, once you start doing combo's it becomes a good challenge, to keep your composure and time your hits just right.
Now since live they have opened the cash shop, and they offer quite a few things there, one is a premium account. The premium account is nice because you can get on a lower pop channel so that you don't have to compete with so many people. Not to mention you can buy tools to help you out in the game.
Overall I think Cabal is great, is it the best, I don't think so. I am still a fan of the idea that your character defines how well you will survive, not your gear. I will give an example, in WOW for example if you were to lose all of your high end weapons and armor could you survive with starter equipment in a place like Onyxia's cave? The answer is no. Well I like games where your skills and your stats make you powerful not your weapons, if you take away all the leet crap, you should be able to pick up a starter weapon and still be able to defend yourself at almost top form, the only game I know that does this still is, Asheron's Call. To me AC is still the best but after it comes Anarchy Online, and now Cabal.
Does Cabal deserve a good rating, yes it does.
Im only lvl 31 in Cabal but for being a free game i like the fact that it has what seems to be endless quests, the games look and feel is nice aswell (again for being a free game) i dont seem to hit much lag, other then loading in when i have loged out in town, the music to the game is great to, also i like their /dance emote hehe =^_^=, the only down side i have with the game atm is sometimes the servers can be so full that doing your quests can be hard cuzz there is like 9 other people standing there trying to kill the same thing you are. but other then that its an all around desently good free game for me to pass the time untill AoC comes out.
Real Eyes, Relize, Real Lies
You got bored after 20 mins? Then this game isn't for you.
I, however, think the game is great, and it deserves it's rating. I would call myself an experienced player, even though I'm not that high a level. ( 98..)
There are hundreds, if not thousands of quests to do, party dungeons ( Lake in dusk, Ruina station, tower of the dead, etc. ) Which is fun for grouping.
The graphics are very good for a free game, and better than any other game i've played ( on the computer )
The are only two things I don't like about this game:
Skilling: Pain in the ass, but it's definately worth it, the end-game skills are jsut awesome.
Nations: At lvl 95+ you can pick a nation ( Procyon or Capella ). At all 95+ maps you can get pked at any time by the enemy nation. IF YOU DON'T PICK A NATION, IT'LL BE YOU VS ALL.
Get a good guild, good friends and it's an awesome game.
The cash shop is made so that people don't get huge advantages by using it, they just reach their goals faster.. A player not using cash shop isn't any worse than a player who uses it.
There is Pking, but not looting. Every server has it's own "PK" channel, and there are NATION WARS on an own war map.
the graphics suck at first... really badly. but after u get to maybe lvl 25 you will see its actually very very pretty(armor and monsters more detailed- even the scenery), especially with all the skill effects. to be honest i think cabal online has the prettiest skill effects ive seen in a mmorpg (i have played a lot- p2p and a lot of free ones).
Most memorable games: AoC(Tryanny PvP), RIFT, GW, GW2, Ragnarok Online, Aion, FFXI, FFXIV, Secret World, League of Legends (Silver II rank)
Yeah i think so too, for an action themed gameplay i think you should have cool "anime" looking skills like the bladers thwirls or something... The game IS only about fightning (and crafting after lvl 50) so i guess they focused on how the fightning will look :P And i agree, the first time you see the game you think the graphics suck, but than you see the bigger bad ass weapons, armors, monsters and scenery... Everything looks better. Like i said, for a F2P Cabal is a very good choice! I'm currently busy with Mabinogi though, i like skill based sandbox games better :P
LOL absolutely agreed. koreans dont know what real mmo is . They're just like, as long as having "something" to do, no matter how stupid it might be (endless farming/grind etc.), and they are satisfied.
reason that there are quite a few such mmos out their is cuz the asian market are generally poor and less educated. these games are just made for them, free and mindless. then some rich people who enjoy being superior in a crowded mmo would come throw in some $$, which keeps the game running for free.
now i'm really laughing cuz people who spend years playing such games will eventually become idiots who cant do anything but grind in an mmo. Those poor asian countries under the korean infection might even have their economy pushed back due to the large amount of young people "working" for free mmos ... LOL
sorry but wtf are you talking about? koreans dont know what a real MMO is? do you even know what MMO means? go to school much?
The way their games are designed is to suit asian tastes. This unfortunately is different to the easily bored people with low attention spans in the west.
The way their games are designed is that the harder you work the more you are rewarded. Ive played many mmorpgs starting back from ultima online and through many korean mmo's. Yes they all seem to be the same generic foundation, but hey, theres MILLIONS of people playing them around the world.
The basic design of the game is cheap to run and doesnt require that much bandwith so maintaining them isnt that expensive. Maybe thats why its free. Cant blame a company for trying to earn a profit either and if theres people out there willing to spend money, why the hell not. And no people spending money wont overpower those who spend time and effort getting high lvl items and characters.
Even western MMO's such as WOW, COH, AO etc all have grinding and quest leveling. Honestly, do you even know wtf your talking about? probably just a racist little kid that just want to bad mouth koreans (and no im not korean either)
Before you even think about trying to quote me wrong. Ive been working in the games industry for many years. I know how things work behind the scenes I assume you dont have a clue in hell.
<(^_^)>
i found this game boring, obviously for some people it pushes the right buttons but i didnt like it, music was cool though gotta admit xDD

Kensai-zen you are spot on man. msz010 watch what you post and stop being a jerk. Korea is considered to be thee LEADING region for gaming to date. Do you realize that just a small fraction of there gaming developers have more experience than 90 percent of our developers do. So obviously there not idiots, so please stop posting crap you have no clue about. I too have been in the business for a few years myself and I too know what im talking about. So please before you start bashing on koreans, them like most other asian regions they too study the one thing they want to do for the rest of there life and excel beyond yours nor my comprehension, it be sports, art, industrial, anything they want. They are absolutely brilliant when it comes to game designs, there mmos see more than 2 million people on the beginning launch dates and there populations continue to rise in the mmo genre.SO please stop being an idiot and grow up.Now cabal, yea I was very bored with it, in fact I couldn't stand playin it but the music was good. I too had lag issues, and I have 4 gigs of ram with a 2.8 ghz P4. So go figure, I know the game gets better but I wasn't willing to stick with it. Yes the game is grossly over hyped by those that like it, but hey to some people this is the best game ever but not my cup of tea, but I will not bash anyone for there likes or dislikes.
Good Post Kensai game on bro.
