Have a look at the accounts voting for Voyage Century, please. You'll find that they are mostly new accounts with just a few posts to make them eligible to vote.

They have a paid promotion scheme, let alone it's filled with eBay silver sellers. So not surprised that the ratings are spammed.

I am surprised that no one has done anything about it though. It kind of takes away from the whole purpose of the feature being on the mmorpg.com website. If nothing is done about it, then in reality the ranking feature on the website is there for spammers to flood. If they fix it, then it's there for us to use and communicate to one another.

What's needed is a full review is required to vote (no less than 50 words). That'll prevent the three word spam, and give the reader a better look of the game before getting suckered by actually playing it (games like VCO are like the Blackjack table in Las Vegas -- too addictive, then you wonder why you broke the bank).
Folks need to know the truth about the games, not just the hype.
