Pre-Ordered CE from Gamestop and No Beta Code???

I just Picked up a Pre order of the CE from gamestop and he game me just a receipt that I ordered it and that it. When I asked him about my CE Beta code that comes with the CE Pre order he really didn't know anything about it and said if there was one it would be given to me through my email.....anyone get anything like this? Did your CE Beta code come in a separate piece of paper or back on the receipt?

I also didnt get one. from what i have been hearing is that not every store got the beta key and that some of them gave them out to none collecters adition preorders.
I work at a retail store and we fuck up stuff like that all the time (lol). It really is just poor communication on the part of the managers most of the time. I would definetly keep on trying to get that key. Somebody messed up on their part and if you prod and plead with them enough (maybe even threaten) they will give you what you paid for (or maybe even more).
Cancel your Gamestop.com Order and go to Amazon.com. Do not use the 1 click feature..the moment you purchase check your Media Library..downlaods section and your beta codes will be right there for you to see and gather at any time.
Gamestop sucks wind no offense to the employees its not your fault your company has communication issues with instructions & street dates

I oredered from Gamestop as well near my home. I didn't get the key and they are saying they know nothing about it. I think I will cancel my order if I don't get it i the next day or two.
IThere's only 60k copies of the CE...I'd go on and get on Amazon or another site ... If the Gamestop doesn't have it now its likely they won't have it or they gave it away early since some stores screwed up last week. Personally I think they're holding off on sending them until they get orders but if they're doing that they should atleast come out n say it.
If you wanna wait Hound them everday after 1 or 2 because they get shipments in the morning to mid afternoon.

EB/Gamestop does not suck. If you want to get your game late, go ahead and order from amazon.com. If you want to get it the day it's released, get it from EB/Gamestop with next day.
As to the codes, when they get them they will email them. It will not matter if you use them today or 3 weeks from today so long as you get it before the "open" beta (CE entrance) starts. Which doesn't seem like any time soon.

100% confirmed, my access key is already on my account. Also the pre-order will likely have a download for the early access phase from what I read in my account info.

Hmm last time I Pre Ordered an item..I got it the DAy of Release..oh wait thast happened every time. You have to order 1 Day shipping but then again this is omg OMG!!! A head Start program code..which means I get to digitally down load it anyway so it doesnt matter where from but Gamestop does NOT absolutely does NOT have their crap together this time around. I wouldn't trust them with a ten foot pole.

I think it is a regional thing. I have lived in Florida, New Jersey, and now North Carolina and have been using EB Games/ Gamestop for around 12 years now exclusively and I have always received my stuff when it is supposed to be there, never late, and more times than not if I have to stand in line waiting for more than ten minutes they always shoot be things for free. This includes getting my CE codes for WAR. All the areas I have mentioned are along the East Coast of the United States so maybe that has something to do with this whole situation.

I've seen this complaint about the codes from gamestop.com on various WAR sites so why shouldn't I be allowed to say that Gamestop sucks balls because of their major communications & consistancy problems especially when people can go to Amazon and get their codes right away.

Ordering online is a bitch with GS and EB. I have ordered about 20 seperate items including pre-order items from Amazon and never had a problem.
I pre-ordered from EA thinking that would be the best way to ensure I would get a code on checkout. Big mistake. Nothing on checkout, nothing on login.... unless i'm missing something. I'm going to put in a support request to EA.
I literally just came from my local gamestop (northern virginia) and the manager happened to be the one working the counter. He didn't even know he was supposed to be handing out the codes. He said normally they receive emails/calls etc. regarding games and what should be handed out with what preorders but said he hadn't heard anything about this game but after a quick look around he found the codes and thanked me for helping him out since he can now make sure everyone knows to hand those out. Sounds like gamestop or mythic had some kind of communication error but they seem to have the codes there, just make sure to ask for it if they don't give it to you right away.
Also it looks like a little slip of paper that looks exactly like the image posted previously.
I went the day before the CE announcement to my Gamestop. They didn't have the CE edition to pre-order so the guy put down for the regular version and gave me the beta code. Don't know how they got codes without CE being available. Then they called me when they were aloud to pre-order CE edition and switched me over which was cool. You may want to check back with your local game store to see if they have beta codes now.

The other 2 codes (head start and in game items) you wont be able to use yet as the site is still being constructed to handle the codes.

I have to agree Amazon.com rocks. You get the codes immeadiately. (After a little bit of searching how to access your Download section)
Of course you end up with a slighlty different in-game item based on where you get it. They're all the same kind of armband thing but the Amazon CE does Spirit Damage while the others do Corporeal or Elemental Damage.
Pre-Ordered the CE from EA online. Same outcome as the other poster thus far... no code... nothing. Hopefully it's just a matter of waiting 48hrs or something.
Im from the UK and I preordered from Play.com, no code given to me, nothing emailed, so I phoned them up and they said that it will be posted at the beginning of May, as the open beta is not planned to start until then.
Can Anyone comfirm this for Uk players for me?
