I saw a 3 minute video of it. The combat is fast paced and is sortve like zelda style combat. The graphics didnt look quite as good as it thought they would , but they were still really nice. It looks really good and considering how long its been in developement i wouldnt be suprised if everything thats been promised will be in the actaul game.

I just finished the 3 page preview(seems preview starts on page 2 might want to click for page one first) and they mentioned the graphics. It said people might think the graphics have degraded in final build but they said the game was amazing in the graphic area and the art is REALLY good.

Yeah I expect it to be Morrowind x10. The options you have are amazing and the fact the storyline is always there ya wont get lost in mind boring wondering. Theres always soemthing to do. Killing off a town and taking it over then as new people move in you can raise all the prices. Once town is killed off land values drop. Huge Economy AI.

Im amazed at what I have read and seen. Get married have sex...finish the quest then live on in the game as ya want. With epleanty to still do after the main story arch.

Im excited for it, but sense they took out alot of stuff from when i first read about it, ive gotten less excited. Im still going to get it.

The point in that statement was? Some of the console single player games are the best out there. They aren't meant to be mmo or online. That's why Halo and Fable did/will do so well, they appeal to the gamer that will invite people over to play the game... if that made sense. If i remember correctly, the developer of Fable is the same guy who made Black and White... which was also massively hyped only to bomb.

Not saying Fable will definitely be terrible (it does look good), but i'd be a little more cautious about getting too excited.

I'm pretty hyped about this game but i'm ready to take the good with the bad.

But i was wondering if anyone knows how to, or can, get their hands on the background song playing on the Fable website, fablegame.com. It is super catchy and I really want it so if anyone can get it or knows where to get it, that would be great.

After playing Riddick(movie game) on xbox im amazed. Damn that game was good. Played 10 hours straight the game had me so hooked.

Don't bother buying an X-BOX, we all know what will happen. Whenever a good game is actually released for X-BOX it soon turns up on PC only better. Do yourself a favor: use your money for a PS2 or a Gamecube instead, or to upgrade your PC.

Also, I can wait. I am a big fan of Peter Molyneux' work (Black & White in particular), but somehow my interest for this game has died out. I used to anticipate it like there was no tomorrow and I had to urge them to finish it today so that I could play it today, but I guess since so many other great games are popping up soon I'm not so excited anymore.

Also, if you're looking for their website, try lionhead.com or lionheadstudios.com, not sure.

Anybody that thinks the Xbox sucks as a system obiously hasn't played Halo, KOTOR, NinjaGaiden, Mech Assault, Crimson Skies, Riddick, Rallisport 1 and 2, Freedom Fighters, Tiger Woods, Madden series, and the ESPN sports series...not to mention the games that are on the way like, HALO2, KOTOR2, Fable, Jade Emire, Rainbow6 3, The Bard's Tale, Kingdom under Fire, Star Wars Battlefront, Brothers In Arms, Confilct Viet Nam, and many others...if you're gonna bash a game system, please at least play a couple games on it first...Xaldor

Xbox has the best gardware period. Play Riddick hehe. If ridick is on PS2 or does it will look like udder crap. In Riddick the char models look so damn good and it was better then MGS2 period. Anyone play Rainbow 6 on xbox then try it on Ps2? LMAO. Graphics were laughable. Xbox live is the best and its fun.

Fable does have some sort of online feature in game I just think its to sign in isnt it? So people are aware your playing a game? or maybe future downloads??

I got gamecube,xbox and a powerful PC. Gamecubes for the neat kiddie games and LEgend of Zelda series and xbox is for my uber graphic mature games I can play on my HDTV(hell with playing fable on a monitor when i have a 40in HDTV) and PC is for my RTS and MMORPG needs. Some FPS.

Xbox live play is probably just a rumour but I am looking forward to two player mode! Unless this is something they have taken out. When you create two characters, you can then use one of them as a 'sidekick' to you main character and have them controlled by a friend. The sidekick wont advance whilst being used as a sidekick, but it means that you can play two games at once, and have the character from whichever one you are not playing as a sidekick to help you kick extra ass!
