Funny thing is, I actually found that link on the offcial DnL forums. I occasionally delight myself in watching people there ignore the completely obvious situation the game is in.
NPCube argues it has not been granted enough time to retain a lawyer, and does not bring any submissions before Court in the emergency proceedings taken by VWORLD for counterfeiting of video sequences. The defense asks for the hearing to be postponed, which is granted and scheduled on March 26, 2008.

The final hearing takes place at the Paris Court and the Court's decision is to be rendered on April 2nd, 2008.
Over 100k U.S. dollars, and not even at the real rewards when the main case is decided.

I've a feeling after the other courts' ruling and the history of procrastination tactics used by Farlan/NPcube in the past, that obtaining another delay or continuance will be very hard, if not impossible. Courts do have a tendency to lose their leniency when they notice they've been played.
hmmm...they seem to have used just about every excuse there is in the main lawsuit. Snailgames is probably finding it difficult to make DnL transfer to the Voyage Century engine.
You know out of this whole mess, the Snailgames part bothers me the most. It's like Farlan/NP3 purposefully went to a company that operates in a country where there is very little, if any, leagal regard for IP rights and the like.
The thing is, I wonder if any court decision will have any real effect on DnL coming out in China? Let's hope I'm wrong and everything DnL related is shut down for good, in all countries, once the major decision is handed down.

And why do we want the game gone and the devs ruined? So that the next batch of assholes will think twice before they try to pull this kind of crap.

Well, like I said in another thread, that's exactly what I believe Farlans' intentions were. Unfortunately, Snalgames has quite a few games published here in the States and Europe. So, if they wanted to make DnL strictly for the Chinese market, they might get away with that. But a publishing deal in EU/NA could be shut down fairly quickly due to our laws regarding software theft and IP/copyright infringement. And it would also put a noose around SGs' other games here as well.
It'd be like the Chinese trying to open their blatant ripoff of Disneyland in the middle of Texas.
