    If you don't want meet other players online  then NGE is the right game  for you  and your search has come to an end :)  you will love it for that ...

    Get people to pay montlhy for a singleplayer game. Iwish I thought of that instead of $OE.

    i subscribed to SWG and waited over 4 hours for it to download and install. i found that it would not update and when it finally launched, it would not connect to any server. SOE support was a waste of time. i did exactly as they said but it didn't work.  here is a heads up...SOE does not give out refunds no matter how bad they screw up. i haven't been able to use even one second of my subscription and i had to cancel it.  don't waste your time or your money with SOE

    OMG, YOU must have done something wrong! Did you unzip everything to the correct folder? Did you rebuild the archive into the place that the installer was asking for? 4 hours is not so long to wait for a download. Is your video driver up to date? If you are using Vista make sure that you run SWG in compatibility mode.

    If SOE really wanted new players, or they cared about their reputation, posts like this would not exist. It is a shame you lost your money Teal. You could probably do a charge back, considering you have been unable to obtain service. I would not let them keep the money for something you are unable to get working.
