Hey I am thinking about joining SWG. So are there any players that could be willing to show me the ropes and help me out if I need it. And what server are you on? And is SWG still a could game, plus when is the patch 10 coming out?

    Their is a lot of helpful ppl in SWG. I had the trial version.

    Publish dates are always.... fuzzy.  They get shifted back and forth constantly so you really dont have much of a clue when they will be implemented.  image

    As for getting help, it would depend on which servers you will play on.  Of course, most guilds recruit very aggressively and tend to help you for a while, so you can always join one for a bit until you are ready to move on.

    Post which servers you will be on, and I might be able to recommend a few decent guilds.

     Star Wars Galaxies is intended first for Star Wars fans. Next for casual players aka gamers who have 1-3 hours of free time to play. You will have a better chance of liking SWG, or thinking SWG is a nice game, if you are 1 or both. SWG is Not intended for power gamers.

      Very few of the 300,000+ SWG players know about MMORPG.com , or browse this site. You are better off asking any questions about SWG at stratcs.com

     Also, this is the general forum at MMORPG.com, if you have a question about a certain game, you are better off asking it in the form for that game. SWG has its own forum at MMORPG.com ..... click on the name of the game in the margin on the left side of the page.

    I'll help you out when I am on.  I play occasionally and am close to mastering bounty hunter.  It's more of a game for me to play when there is absolutely nothing else to do.  My game name is Nicolae.

    I was in an all Wookiee guild on the Corbantis server, on Rori city of Kash...if you make a Wookiee log on there they are awsome people, I just got tired of the game, not the people. Tell them Babova sent you...if you play there.

    game was fun for a bit but be ready to grind for a little and def get in a guild if u can will help the most
