those screens look really good considering they are running on a Dell 1501 (amd) notebook....this is a lower end model from Dell ...prices start at $449
This was a relief to read...these SSs look like morrowind on low settings.
Am i the only one seeing this correctly? either you guys havn't played a game in the last 6 years or something is wrong here, those graphics look like DX8.
The site admin that posted these states that the character creation pics were done on a DELL INSPIRON 1501 notebook just to see if that old machine can run the game. Course, the way information is presented there doesn't make it easy to get that information. If you read down through the archives at the link below you will see where he states this. It is the first entry for Sat. April 5, 2008.

That's beside the point. Regardless of if I believe that or not (I don't. My 'little birds' (I love this phrase ^^) are telling me the game is on track), delaying it on the 20th is a rather....I don#t know...impossible thing?
The screens show what is (content wise) available in the game and should not really be used to judge the graphic quality, as it has been pointed out, it all depends on the PC that is running the game.
I am sure if you searched the net you will find very nice, in-game shots, showing good quailty graphics.
Even tho' the screen weren't of the best quality I really did enjoy them! I enjoy all new AoC material tho'. I wish we could like move time forward to May 20th, hehe.
Yes - I actually look forward to blowing $40 so that I can run around loping Avery toon's head as often as possible in my box-paid 30 days.

But i see no scabbards in any screens!!!!
