I'm looking for a new laptop and Alienware only has two and this one is my only affordable one of the two. Its the Area-51 m9750. By the looks of it, it'll do just fine. I just wanted some advice from some people who have used it before.
here are the stats: http://www.alienware.com/product_detail_pages/area-51_m9750/area-51m_specs.aspx?SysCode=PC-LT-AREA51M9750&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT#pdp-nav

Like all Alienware PC's, a good machine that is way too bloody expensive. I built a new PC about six months ago which cost me £2500 or as near as makes no difference. I priced the same spec up at Alienware and got quoted just over £6000. What you are paying for with AW machines is their expertise as most of them come pretty well overclocked and stable but for my mind it aint worth that much more.
Alright. I see what you mean.

All Laptops suck. As actual computers they pale in comparison to PCs, and as mobile devices they suck compared to Tablet PCs.
If you're going to have a laptop build by a custom PC place then the only place is Sager. Do a google search for them. They make very good gaming laptops at affordable prices.
50% of the money you pay for an alienware if for a sticker saying "Alienware" on your pc.
Seriously, you can get two computers for the money of one Alienware, and still have better performance on them.
I'll try that. Thanks for the advice.
