If you like crappy games get DAOC..it has good pvp tho..i guess.
If your willing to push through the crap parts of eq at beginning and allow yourself to get high lvl then go Everquest.

I've played all 3, and DAOC is by FAR the best. It has the most depth and best PVP. If you are not afan of PVP, go with EQ. I like to have PVP and DAOC has places you can go to PVP if you want, and if you dont wanna pvp, you dont have to.
CoH is the worst. all it has goin for it are pretty graphics and nonstop fighting. That's ALL YOU DO. DaoC you can PVP, PVE, Craft, Quest, Etc. Lots of stuff for you to do.
If you like Fantasy RPG's and you like PvP, DAOC is the way to go.

DAoC. It's become a bit of what makes EQ such a crappy game(the uber item fest). But it has a much more better PvP system although right now PvP is kinda sucky since the NF expansion. Still, played all 3 games and I would choose daoc over EQ. And if you havent read lately, in a new coming patch you wil be awarded 1 free lvl of a maximum every 7 days. On underpopulated realms(mostly hib and mid)you can get 1 free lvl as much as every 2 days. However you must get at least 1 lvl on your own within that time.

Depend on your tastes.
If you want to raid and focus on raiding, go for EQ.
If you want to raid, but consider the enemy players and fight them, then goes for DAoC.
If you want to group or solo, go for CoH.

you will get a TON of content and really countless hours of gameplay with DAoC, I have played CoH and found it really "lite" and once the "hot new thing" feeling and fun factor wore away, I felt like it really wasn't worth paying for it every month.
I am shuffling multiple games, and I feel DAoC has a decent amount of content, and if you like exploration, the world is fun, then slap on atlantis and SI and you have even more.
Then again, EQ is great just graphically outdated, the fanbase for that game alone should say it all, but I would wait for EQ II knowing it is right around the corner before puchasing either of these.
and that's my 2 cents.

Current:
SWG: Corbantis-Techno Destructo
Planetside: Markov-vactoxic
DAoC: Merlin-hexfix
Neocron: Pluto-vactoxic

Past:
EQ
EQOA
AO
Current Games:
in this order
1. daoc: because it has fun pve and good pvp, you can solo, you can group, big community
2. coh: only fun for a month, but still fun.
3. eq: good game, but to old to start in now. very few noobs

I would go with CoH to keep you busy for a couple months. You've got EQII coming out soon, as well as WoW. Both of those should be solid. So, go with something neat and new to keep you busy until the super hyped new stuff goes into open beta (really soon, I would think). The nice part about the news ones is you get to start off in a new community.
Of course, Selek (above) shows a predilection for Anarchy Online, which, while not listed in your poll, is always a solid choice.
