Something to Play Until Conan?

TuutobTuutob Member Posts: 607

Okay, now that we are at the (hopefully) final stretch until Conan, I seriously need something to do until then.

Is there a free MMO fun enough to hold me over for, say, a month and a half? Something different enough and with enough quality to keep me interested until the day of release? What I am really looking for is something to be able to log on to for maybe an hour a day, screw around a bit and log off feeling like I accomplished something.

I have Mabinogi on my hard drive and haven't played it since closed beta, I thought it was fun but haven't really wanted to open it since. Has it gotten any better?

Thanks!

If you want AoC practice and some fun, try Rakion, if you can get by the lag and hackers, it's an awesome game.

Guild Wars, Unreal Tournament 3 and Smash Bros. Brawl here.

I know I've defended F2P Korean games in the past, but there really isn't anything out there that will be to your liking if you're an AoC fanboi. Although I do remember playing and enjoying Space cowboy. I believe the new name of the game is AirRivals....

almost all other F2P MMOs are Lineage 2 clones or infested with hackers.

Although you have to pay some of your hard earned moneys you to buy at least one of the boxes for Guild Wars that's the only thing you'll ever pay to play Guild Wars; the campaigns is what costs the rest is free! The game got quality and it's easy to log in for just an hour and screw around a bit and still have an enjoyable time.

Considering that pretty much all posts previous to mine have already suggested Guild Wars I believe that you may be interested in the game. For further questions you can just send me a PM or make a topic regarding those on the Guild Wars forums. This is strongly advised due to the different campaigns and what can be offered in those, something which may confuse those who are about to buy the game.

For instant self gratification (?) I know of people who play Trackmania Nations: Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) at times.

I'm grinding an A-gear in air rivals right now, with breaks to play Exteel, Dystopia. DoW. and old movies like Running Man which I am whatching right now. Oh, and no matter how bored you maybe, never ever be tempted to watch BioDome.

Guild wars have the shortest grind times for P2P games, and are quite cheap
