CCP has published the patch notes for EVE's Trinity 1.2 patch which is scheduled to go live on Tuesday April 15th.
CRITICAL
Junk-in-Space has been activated and will go live after Downtime on 16 April.
In Trinity 1.1: Boost Patch we deployed the Junk in Space Cleanup Program whereby anchored containers will have a 30 day timer from the last time they were interacted with and they will then be deleted when the timer expires unless they are in proximity to a Starbase. Another part of this program is that drones, fighters, shuttles and rookie ships in space will be deleted on the first of every month and while the clock started ticking on 12 April we decided to give it a bit more time so the system will become active during downtime on 16 April.

I can't wait until this patch is implemented!!! Finally, all of those cans surrounding practically every roid belt in high sec will be removed (or at least a good majority of them). Now maybe I can find a good "home" roid belt or two and attempt more efficient mining! Great news!
Currently playing: No MMOs. They all suck.
I agree, great news. Would be cool if there was a way to see the numbers from the first trash day. I imagine the first one will be removing cans numbering in the millions server wide. Hundreds of thousands at the least. It wont only make the belts look allot better but make them easier to mine as well, not to mention taking bit of the load off the server.
Think theres a typo in the Titile. 1.3 in the tittle 1.2 it is actually
Yes, the patch is 1.2 - not 1.3.
Endly i can mine in icebelt, without having too wait minutes for lag, from thousands of cans who rest there for months and months for no reason at all.

After downloading the patch, still problems with 3 accounts logged in, a videokrt problem still not solved in eve. But icemining goes better with a lot the cans removed.
