Yeah, I've got very picky tastes when it comes to MMORPGs. I'm looking for a slow paced free MMO with a rich, full lore that is very good for roleplaying with my friends on the side of WoW. The graphics don't have to be perfect, but, for a free MMO, I'd prefer a 2d one. I've kept up with expensive MMOs like EQ, WoW, and I plan on DEFINATELY getting Warhammer. But I wanna play a FTP MMO with a unique lore.

(Also, I'd like to mention this is my first post. Yay! ^^ Howdi-do everybody. =D)

anybody who knows a game like this. And thanks a bunch, yo.

Lord of the Rings Online is a good game it's rather like wow in a lot of ways but has better textures and it has a well known story line with a deep lore that is great for roll playing.  I don’t know if that is exactly what your looking for.   I have never heard the term FTP when referring to a MMO so I have no idea what you mean.

I know that Dofus and PuzzlePirates are 2 games that you would be surprised as to how many people play. Ive also seen good things about Starport: Galactic empires.

    Good Luck

To Cody: Thank you for your input. ^^ I have LOTRO, though I haven't payed the monthly fee in forever. I got it as a gift for Christmas, cause of the 3-month for 9 dollars. The graphics were beautiful, the quests were great. I'm not sure what my complaint was, but I had one. The game was great in every aspect. But, I didn't like it. Now, I would reccomend it to anyone who reads this thread looking for a game themselves. It's worth a shot.

FTP means Free to Play. And I only actually learned what free MMOs were called recently myself. =P

In any case. I'm definately not touching Puzzle Pirates. I'd much prefer a fantasy based MMO to a children's game (I'm assuming it's a childrens game, cause I've seen ads for it.). Maybe I'll just hit up Neverwinter Nights for a bit untill Warhammer comes out. :)
