No Weapons/Armor in the Auction House?

Hey all it's me again. I'm having alot of trouble with finding the armor/weapons i need in the Auction House.. it seems like the higher level I get the harder it is to find someone who is selling it. For example: It took me 2 days to get the Legionnaire's Mittens, Knuckles, and Harness. I noticed that you can get all of these items from conquest points.. is that how you are supposed to get these items or is my server just under populated?
Thanks for anyone who answers this question. It's been bugging me for a while now.

Yeah, CP is one way to get them. People get them if they need them with CP, they sell them afterwards. You might have better luck finding them in Jeuno though. That's usually the other place they sell them instead of the home towns AH.

Jeuno: East Saruta -> Tahrongi Canyon ->Meriphataud Mountains ->Sauromugue Champaign -> Jeuno
Bastok: East Saruta -> Tahrongi Canyon ->Buburimu Peninsula ->Mhaura (take the boat from Mhaura to Selbina) Exit Selbina to -> Valkrum Dunes -> Konschtat Highlands -> North Gustaberg -> South Gustaberg -> Bastok
Easiest thing you can do is google ffxi maps. www.ffxi-maps.com is a good site, IMO
Anything that is around 18+ use Jeuno Auction house, and even some good gear from 10+.

I am so mad.. I can't get out of Jeuno without the monsters killing me!!!! I've died 4 times im getting so annoyed and i de-leveled! Does anyone know if it is possible to teleport to your home town if you set your home point to another place?
Nope you gotta walk back, or find someone that will teleport to down to one of the crags near ur home city if you got the tele-crystal! At lvl 20 though is the Chocobo quest and while riding that monsters do not aggro. What are u lvl 18? ...and what job? You might be able to get a group for Qufim Island to get lvl 20, but depends on ur job. Generally you stay in the dunes until 20 then head onto Jeuno!

I would stay in dunes until lvl 20 then walk to jeuno. No one is going to nag you for having bad gear pre 30ish. by then you should have a LS and some one *should* be kind enough to walk you to jeuno. if not i would definitely go the sandy way and bring plenty of reraise.
La Theine Plateau -> Jugner Forest -> Batallia Downs
The walk is a little longer but that rout only has sight argo and has the least amount of mobs that want to kill you as long as you pay attention.
Thanks guys, I finally got out of Jeuno but it took about 6 tries and 3 hours
. I was level 10 and i really wanted those leggionnaire's knuckles... I'm never going there again until i get a chocobo lol.
Edit:Does anyone know if I can store all of the items I'm going to sell in the Mog House in Windurst and then go to Jeuno and take everything out of my mog house there? Or do I have to take the stuff out of Windurst and take them all to Jeuno?
You can use all of your mog house stuff anywhere in any other city that there is a Rent-a-Room or a Nomad Moogle. The only thing you can't access from other cities besides your hometown is your Storage space if you have anything in there from the furnishings you have laid out in your mog house.

Hehe, Chocobo quest starts in Jeuno, so yeah you gotta hike back there on foot again! ...and it take like 4-5 RL hrs to complete!

at 15 i think you can take chocobos from your home city and 18 i wanna say from crags (once you get the liscense). make sure you get the Key Item crystal at the crag, this will allow you to teleport to mea so you can access winy easier. Solo from levels 1-10, then go to dunes from 10-20. from their jeuno isnt as bad. lol That much death probably isnt worth it til you get to around level 30 as someone else said. just get what you can, or pay an extra dollar a month and get a mule character. Set the mule in Sandoria and just send gil to him and send gear to your main. less death that way.
