Second Life has a SWG?

lol Seriously, I heard about this from some people who used to play SWG so I finally went to check it out.  I'm not a fan of SL but it has to be the best use of that virtual world MMO I've seen. It's not big but I guess it's enough for the people who hang out there. It's called "Little Mos Eisely" They actually took sounds and textures from the game and rebuilt Mos Eisley. When you land you hear the same music you did landing in Mos Eisley in SWG, The sounds, music, buildings everything has been built as close as they could get it. They have even made some of the weapons like the DE-10, clothes, backpacks and armor from the game. I saw some players wearing Storm trooper armor and who ever designed it did a better job than SOE did. I guess they have combat there as well, however in the hell that works. It was kinda empty from what I saw but they have a big member roster so I assume a few people hang around from time to time.

    Yeah, I've been to Lil Mos Eisely and other Star Wars communities within SL (and there are many and I spent way too much money). While there isn't much game mechanics to speak of, it is still great to be able to dress up as the part and RP with other Star Wars/Sci Fi enthusiasts.

    Currently playing: No MMOs. They all suck.

    Thats kinda cool. I am still waiting for a fan to build a star wars mmo from scratch with no involvement from lucas arts.

    LOL...I have a friend in SL that build (painstakingly I might add) a fully habitable version of the Tatooine medium and small house.  Except he put in tintable windows where you could make it transparent or click to make it like SWG had it.   (Only $500 Lindens too! :P   )

    Oh best to mention NOW>......   If you're under 18 yrs old, don't bother checking out SL...Adults only. (thank god)
