LF: no pvp/pk, mostly soloable...

gathgath Member Posts: 424

Hi.

Looking for:

- Game without pvp/pk. Or it can exist, but in limited places, like a special arena.

- Mostly soloable. Can have grouping quests but cant interfere mutch with the 'lone wolf' player.

('end-game' might be somewhat diferent, i'll then judge)

- Better graphics then plain 2D.

- Game be somewhat new.

Hmm... can be F2P or P2P.

Think that's it...

Thanks.

I tried lotro in beta and well, I hated it because it ran like poo on my compooter. Now that I have a nice new quad core box, I am giving it a try via the trial and I must say, I'm enjoying it. I can turn all the graphics on and everything runs great. The story is fun and the classes are interesting. The only problem I'm having is deciding which class I'll play the most. I was going to go with Lore Master, then I decided I'd try Captain instead, but I honestly think playing a LM will be more fun for me.

Anywho, I'm only saying all this because the OP is looking for a new game that lotro certainly meets his requirements. However, if you don't have a pretty nice computer, the fact that this game looks so great will be lost on you. Playing with DX10 and everything on, it's easily the best MMO (graphics) I've played. I imagine DDO is close, but I don't think they have DX10 support yet so they're probably missing some of the effects.

    so...

I played LOtR in beta, and while i enjoyed it, my computer doenst handle it well. Also, it felt too mutch like WoW... and i got sick to the bone of WoW -.-

And i like playing with and against other people, but in small amounts. So no, single player game doenst cut it :)

Seems i have to keep looking :x
