It's really great, keep working .
LOL, you've spent more time developing this video than the folks at Aventurine do on theirs. Gratz.
Nice job btw.

And when we got more women on the team, it was like No, no, no. We need puppies and horses in there.

very well done op,hehe you might want to ask for a job, maybe the game will get done faster, lol
Out of curiosity if for example Darkfall was out today and i decided to walk from one end of the gameworld to the other [assuming no problems with mountains and seas were there] how long would it take?
Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981
Well in one of the Dev journals they mentioned darkfall having the biggest world than any mmorpg thats released or going to be released. Forumfallers speculated and have come to a conclusion that it would be around 8 hours. However the dev's have not confirmed that to my knowledge so might be more.
Assuming Darkfall releases today, will the AI be so smart they can actually interact as real humans? therefore can they became so smart they start to replicate ingame spreading across the whole game world, eventually turning it into a a game run by AI where the future has been taken over by skynet? Eventually taking over the whole gaming world and even real life where we are their slaves? Will they be smart enough to send a robot back intime to save us?
If we could get your answers on the back of a postcard tasos it would be nice. Please answer these in the next round of useless darkfall journals
thank you

Hmm sounds like it may be the biggest Fantasy MMO assuming of course that it comes out.I just hope when it comes out it fulfills the promises it made all those years ago.

In the latest Darkfall journal tasos mentioned that the game is now "feature complete" meaning that all features that were promised have been implemented and the game is close to completion.
Fare enough ill just say tho it will take more than a Devs promise to make me believe [look at Dark and Light]. So for now ill just watch and see how it goes.

Yeah, i'd rest easy if they would just show a detailed video of the mechanics or better just start open beta...
This is so good promotions for game.=)
I enjoyed the video but I’m more of a meat and potatoes guy then a hopes and dreams guy so I don’t get that awe inspiring warm glowing feeling like I suspect the intended audience are expected to experience.
I’m not sure Considering that this videos production values are higher and that its length is longer then all of the previously officially released videos over the last 7 years put together speaks more for the OP’s ability’s or the lack of on the developers part.
Like most of the fan made videos I notice you have been forced to rely mostly on screenshots many of which are dated from several years ago that don’t rely definitively show many of the features or content you are attempting to showcase.
And that you have had to repeat several times screenshots and use concept art or images not necessarily taken in game, But I suppose the very limited amount of features and content acutely displayed by the available videos and screenshots available forces anyone to do so.
I truly hope that all the fantasizes and imaginations that many followers of Darkfall obviously seem to indulge in based on quite a limited amount information despite the best efforts of people like the OP to present them favorably are not in for the mother of all let downs after such a long wait.
Especially considering the obvious talent and dedication of people like the OP.
A lot of work went into that vid. Well done!
Nice unofficial Trailer. But it reminds me of this week's Bonus Round on Gametrailers.com. It's a long segment so I'll just quote the important part from the middle of it.
"If a game isn't ready, don't release a trailer for it."
http://www.gametrailers.com/bonusround.php?ep=21&pt=2
Now fan trailers like yours are fine, it's good that people put in the effort.
But real companies like Aventurine need to learn this lesson.
