Give me some (original) ideas please

Hey there.

I've been playing (MM)Orpg's for quite a while now. Im kind of tired of the games i played (wow, gw, tibia). Im looking for a new game... But it's so damn hard to find a decent one...

All of the mmorpg's nowadays seem to focus on graphics instead of gameplay, so its hard to find 'the right one.'

Some aspects i like:

Pets, pvp, tournaments, losing exp/levels on death.

Pvplootable (optional), crowded servers, multiple cities etc.

It doesnt have to be that good looking (ironically i liked tibia most, its awesome to kill a high level guy who has to grind for 3 days to regain his losses)

Thanks in advance, hope you experts got some nice thoughts, because i sure as hell dont!

Well, may not have everything you want. But since you seem more PvP oriented, I would take a look at EvE Online. If you really dont care about graphics, consider runescape, daoc  and anarchy online. Fury may also be an option.

However, I still believe the best PvP games currently released are guild wars (which youve already played) and daoc

    Good Luck

Have you thought about City of Heroes?  I don't know if it fits all of your requirements, but I figure it's at least worth taking a look at.

In my opinion, City of heroes isnt really different from mmorpgs that fury mention. I played for awhile and got bored of it fast, might be a personal thing

Maybe try Elf online, I thought it willl be boring but i tried for a while and find it pretty fun. Most importantly, it gives what fury wants, Pet is #1 important in the game. Guild wars are pretty fun, and events like tournament also amusing.
you migth want to try : http://elf.happymmo.com/

    Shadowbane.

You get pets with various classes, pvp 24/7 (the game is built for pvp, be it solo, small skirmishes, 10v10 groups, or large sieges with dozens of players per side), xp loss upon death. Inventory is lootable on death, though equipped gear stays with the player and takes durability damage. Most cities are player made, and the player cities are where you'll find high level trainers, merchants, etc. Thanks to a recent server-reset, shadowbane has two VERY crowded servers, and a third with a reasonable population. Not sure if there are any formal tourneys in the game, but it certainly has the freedom for players to put them together.

Graphics aren't great, and you do have to deal with click-to-move instead of the aswd movement. PvE is limited... it exists primarily to level up on (leveling is fast. 1-max level in probably less than 24 hours played. all classes can solo, most can solo well) or to farm cash on to help build your city.

But, it sounds like it does a pretty good job of meeting your requirements. Best of all, you have nothing to lose. SB is free to download and free to play.
