I usually stain after a good sanding, followed by 3-5 coats of varnish and then 2 coats of clear. But I'll try staining with UO next time.

If i could, i would send all english teachers to island far far away. And give them each revolver with 1 bullet.

They can figure out, what to do with it....

Is that what happened to your own English teacher? That would explain a lot... but you know what my kid is two and has a better grasp of language than you...

Or possibly its not your first language, but i think theres a lot of British kids out there claiming to be Lithuanian... if only they could spell it...

That's a very ignorant thing to say. Do you have something against learning?

Besides, if you put all the teachers on an island and give them a gun, human nature dictates that it will devolve into a Lord of the Flies scenario.

And you would be making a mistake. Teachers always form unions. They would be back, and they would find you. They could then figure out what to do.................

I am enjoying the Kingdom Reborn client.  I like it better then the 2d version.  i have no idea about your old school bags question.  The new client has a patch that lets you have the style of the old bags but im not sure that answers your question.  It's still a great game after all these years... seems to me to have the most content.  I divide my game time between UO, EQ2, Eve, and Wow.

  • ShadowhearthShadowhearth Member Posts: 174

Well, KR its just client, and there is expansion for UO.

And the bags now, remember in 2d client you can drop items, enywhere in bag. It was like 1 huge bag space. And in Kr client it has spots for items, like WoW has.

So i was thinking, maybe you can use the bags from 2d client, and still enjoy kr client.

PKpie just said there's a patch that does that. Might wanna look into that.

Well when i started client, it patched me up to latest version, and i still cant find  where to switch.

or the thing you call patch, is some kind of mod?

Or maybe then just tell me where exactly you have to switch in option?

    Thanks.

You guys are jerks!~~ He's from the EU!!!! read his other posts. UO is supposed to have a mature community; don't bash him for his English. He has made a strong effort to play in English and we should welcome him.

  • WizGamerWizGamer Member UncommonPosts: 403

btw Shadow, i imagine it's a mod. Search it on google :D

  • ShadowhearthShadowhearth Member Posts: 174

I agree. Give the guy a break.

With UO ure better off going with all the expansions, Samurai and ML, they open up new lands, pets, items, quests skills, etc...no reason not to unless u wanna miss out on a hefty amount of content.  Is up to you, but if i recall its not expensive, and if you plan on sticking to it, may as well enjoy all the game has to offer.  Peace.

Yes you can use the old freeform 2d-style bags in the official KR client.  First enable the "Use Legacy Containers" in the graphics settings.  Then click here:

    UO bag screenshot

Its not exactly  the same - not as crisp and readable and you can't place things as precisely as in the 2D client but its similar.

This is the problem with alot of games and people stop flaming him over his grammer. That just shows your intelligence, in end, is not near one that can manage to comprehend simple mispellings. Also the guy speaks more languages then you i think in end he just made you look like the big tard. GJ and very good english for a 2nd language. for those who don't know it english is one of the hardest languages to learn.

Now on topic kinda. I am looking for a good game to play and some how i have never picked up UO. Let me know what you think shadow after a little bit of play coming from WoW. Would be very interested in trying it out.

As an actual English teacher, I really think you should all give him a break.  It's very difficult to learn the written aspect of a new language (a language is still new for about five years after one learns it).  Think about how long it took you to learn written grammar after you started speaking English (we learn to speak at a young age, and not really to write until most of us are four or five... or older).  Besides, with the grammar atrocities I've seen on these forums, I don't really think anyone has any right to criticize.  If you understand what he is trying to say, just answer the bloody question.

I did enjoy the union comment, which is true....  We like to group.

LFG - get off this bloody island.

  • apakapak Member Posts: 32

very well said chrisleko. I know my grammer sucks but you know what i am trying to say. I don't write boots i work on computers for a living. they have spellcheck in end.

Thx for support and understanding guys. I am really sick of that english teaching topic :( . I allways get 5 post about mine english and then (maybe) 1 on actuall topic. English grammar is hard! And i do my best with it, and there is no need to spank those people who  having english as second language. I newer used english in my family, shop, bank, post, talking with friends. I used english only when i was watching DVDs, playing games, and reading stuff on internet. I was very bad english student at school. Becouse all i had, was old fashion english teachers, who teach you on 15 years old program! not mentioning 15 years old books!

I learned my english on my own! thought i do live in Ireland now for 3 years. But that does not mean i am writting in it everyday here! I talk english, but i newer do any paper work. So my typing skills sucks big time :(. Just leave us alone!

Now someone asked me about UO experience after WoW. And i can say only good. First of all - community: mature, friendly, and moust important - RP!

I know i will sound fruity, but i really enjoy RP! It makes playing experience 10x deeper and more free ( gameplay style). When you RP Inn is actually an INN, where you meet friend, or go talk after some advantures!

When you dont RP, inn is just an biulding where you logg out...

I collect money on UO now, i whant to buy some land, and biuld 2 house property ( on 1 land). Make a pub as main biulding ( it would be our giulds pub, where we would meet after our advantures). And make a small workshop by it. Where i will put 2-3 vendors selling everyday items ( nothing major)

Now UO is really nice game, even after alot of vets flaming it. For me as new player ( i have no experience on old school UO) UO is prety much increadable game as it is now, and the only problem of its lower population then WoW, becouse it has no advertisment at all! poeple finding out about this game only from ather players or randomly on forums!

I did not enjoyed raiding and WoW carebear pvp. And to be honest... there is nothing to do if you dont like those 2.... Atleast in UO you can be who ever you whant. Not just tank, dps, or healbot...

Now again. Sorry for grammar and spelling!

Oh I think its becouse of something else, definitely something else......

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

Perfect interface of uo locked me here, so I plan to play uo for more time until I find a better game.
