Question about races/classes

in Age of Conan: Unchained
So it says on aocwiki that only stygians can play as any of the mage classes, but i recently watched a video of players running through a dungeon, and it looked like the demonologist in the video was a cimmerian and he had pale skin. So is it possible for other races to be mages or what is the deal?

    i think for memory Aquilonians could use Magic.  Cimmerians dont really use magic (at all i think) and you may have seen the first confusion due to the character development system.  with so many options someone is bound to find a way to look like a different race to what he actually is.

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
    -Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
