UPDATE:
I am in, what fixed the problem for me is i disabled the shadows in the video options, if u were crashing like i was i suggest your do the same, so far the game is AWESOME!!!! great graphics!!!!

Hmm. now I'm not feeling so bad that my download (which I started about an hour ago) shows 9 hours to go. I went with Bit Tornado and its seems to be working well.

Guess i didn't get in the pvp beta. Oh well, i hope i get in the fileplanet beta.
If anyone wants to forward thier acceptance email to me though, i'll check it out and let you know how far i can get with it, lol.
It really is a shame to hear things not going so well ove there, hearing about all the betas coming suddenly had my hopes high that AoC was ready for launch. I guess this type of thing is to be expected and i'm glad they got it out of the way now. Hope everyone has fun testing PVP.

Avery I heard they were going to drop the NDA during the test(only for the test) at some point,did I read wrong or get bad feedback?

Ya the videos I have seen and the graphics not to mention the sound effects leave me drooling. While I didn't try to get into PvP beta, I'm looking forward to seeing the new vids.
Hey sifudoja, don't worry . why they did the PVP beta was for them to fix a few things. they said that pvp is the hard put about the game because of finishing moves..
I don't know about you all but i'm really pump up about this. have you ever heard about a game only doing PVP beta for a weekend ?..means to me that they want to fix as much as they can before the time runs out ..and most games fix pvp bugs at the end of everything
plus people need to stop reading about what other people are saying about the game..did they play the game yet??!?! Nope..you know how many times people on this website said "dont get your hopes to high ,its alittle weird how they wont have open beta for everyone,they are hiding something! dont buy the game"

No one s hiding anything - this is not some X-file.
But of course you will think the client you theorectically played last week and not the version at release are identical?? thought so.
Good job because NDA will probably be lifted 2 weeks prior to release. Probably looking at Open Beta launch followed by a rough estimate of NDA being dropped I would think around May 9th.
Up until annouced date everything is under NDA. General and Tech beta's
And they have offically announced NDA will be dropped before release.
So really they are hiding the truth that this will be an Awesome game.
"There have been questions about if and how there will be an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) for the Gamespot PvP Beta Weekend. The facts are the following:
Yes there will be an NDA in place for the Gamespot PvP Weekend at first. The NDA will be lifted on Saturday, April 19th at 19:00 GMT (which is 15:00 EST and 12:00 California Time). After that time testers will be allowed to talk about their experiences in the PvP Weekend.
However, the NDA will still be in place for the General and Technical Beta of Age of Conan. So testers who are also a part of one or both of these phases of the beta will still be under NDA and will only be allowed to talk about their PvP Weekend experience.
It's important to know that even after the NDA will be lifted, testers will not be allowed to talk about anything that happened PRIOR to lifting the NDA but only about what their experiences are AFTER the NDA has been lifted. This means everything from Saturday, 19:00 GMT until the PvP Weekend ends on Sunday, 20:00 GMT."
So you can't talk about the things that are happening now, which obviously alot of people are talking about, even those not having the issues, and are not in the event, have heard about the hundreds that are, the PvP weekend players can talk about anything from Saturday on.
That doesn't seem fair.

Unless i dreamt this I could've sworn that the NDA for the PvP weekend was being lifted at the end of it.
So if im correct maybe I should've said...

Your right there was a post on the gamespot AoC beta forums that says The NDA for PVP weekend only will be lifted saturday at 12 or something like that. You can talk about all experiences you had in your pvp weekend that happened after 12 on saturday anything before that is still considered NDA and you cannot talk about it. The nda for normal beta will still be in effect though
