Will we be automatically invited to open Beta if we are a File planet member? As I understand it there will still be a cap on open Beta testers right?

50,000 player cap if i remember correct.

Yes and no there is a cap, and from fileplanet its first come first serve. so even if you pay the 16$ to join fileplanet this does not mean you are in open Beta.
