We can already get the pre order of the game in my country and they say you will have 8 additional inventorry slots!!!!... besides a mount like a rhino ... Some ppl will say wow!! coool, i will buy it, more power to me that i have money for it or that i love playing unfair, but for me its sad not cause i dont have the money just cause dont see the point of playing unfairly.
I was not happy with the xp ring you get with the Special edition box that gives +2 xp, not happy with the free mounts like a rhino or mammoth that of course can fight for you, and not just for destroying cities as far as i know, but now i see they also give 8 additional inventory slots!!!. This is too much, so i will have to go to a pvp server with ppl that is stronger than me and that will have important advantages along the game that i will NEVER be able to get like that 8 additional slots that i am sure will save some time, and time is xp and money.
Maybe each thing individually not make the difference but all together are too much for just paying more money. This doesnt look good, this seems like SOE, just a machine to get money that doesnt care about ppl.
And its not just about power its ALSO that i dont like companies that give more power to ppl paying more money and never played those games. Why they have to do this with this game that looked so good,they ruined it.
I know most ppl wont care, mostly cause many will decide to buy the Special edition and get those advantages, and so play unfairly, cause it seems most ppl will play unfairly if they can, though have to pay more money and companies know it. There are tons of web browsers games and some mmorpgs that do it, just paying lot of money you get lot of powerful items, in AoC is not so sad but they make an important difference too

Its probably no where near as powerful as you think. Matter of fact as you level everything is probably negated by better or at least equal items.
In PvP, at low lvls someone with a bow of 20-30 lvl, a rhino or a mammoth i bet will be able to win the others easily.
And AS I SAID, even at highest lvls they will ALWAYS have 8 additional inventory slots that i wont be able to get. And that is power too, time is power, and extra space is saving time.

And pls tell me a game, in this century, that realy care about ppl
and not about the money that they spend!
I dont say there is a perfect game but for instance i played EQ and Ryzom, and in Ryzom they cared MUCH more about ppl though was far from perfect.
I dont see the sense they promise you a rhino and then you need 40 lvl to use it...Show me where you found that information pls.

you do have to be level 40 to use the mounts,so no you wont be winning in pvp at lvl 30 because you have a mount.
