i ran that can i run it program and i came up with a lower rating then i expected, a bit passed minimum requirements..i have c2d 4400 at 2 ghz 2 gig ram 8800 gts 320....which all excedded min requirements by quite a bit 2 or 3 slots past min...but i only got 2 bars for operating system...not sure why though i run xp.

Recommended specs are for Vista so your XP is what held you back.
If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

i don't get what you mean
The game is supposedly directx 10. Since XP is dx 9 that would be why the low score on that part.

We’ve worked closely with Microsoft on DirectX 10 technology. To our knowledge, Age of Conan is the only MMO developed from the ground up with DirectX 10 in mind (though it runs perfectly well under DX9, as well).

I don't think these sites are very helpful, I mean I dont think windows XP will hinder anything except if u wana play dx10. In addition, If u dont have enough space, they fail u! :P

They must be one of the few people that actually recommend Vista then.
I had to downgrade my wife's laptop to XP this weekend due to Vista becomming completely unstable and taking 20 mins to start up.
I'd rather take XP and DX 9 over Vista and DX 10 on any machine.
Yeah m8 some ppl do say that,I havent had a problem with dx10 yet but I dont know how this game will run with vista and dx10,I was simply answering the op question as to why he didnt get past the recommended on that site.
