How busy is DAOC (classic) these days?

Not sure I actually have to explain that but...

Long time player who hasn't found anything good to play since. WoW is boring, nothing else really seems to be doing that well. So how are the server populations doing on the classic cluster?

Classic population is in good health.

Even most BGs at classic have, at least, some people in it.  Many just lvling but some... which is a nice thing.

There are even some noobs (in the good sense of the word: new people to the ame) or returning people, who had to relearn all.  This is great cuz it gives new blood to the game.

So, play at Classic.  You will have fun.  And Welcome Back!

I just started again a week ago after a loooong break.  I am playing Hybernia on Gareth and it's somewhat dead.  The community there has also been less than impressive (been seeing some things in public channels I though rarely happedn outside of the barrens).

However, I also started playing Albion on another server and it's packed out. And I've found the community very helpfull and mature.

Not really sure whether that is a server thing or an Alb vs Hib thing.  They are both classic servers.

If there is any point, it's that if you find the community of your first server offputting, try a different one and it might be better.  At least some of the servers are still thriving.

I don't want to write this, and you don't want to read it. But now it's too late for both of us.
