LF : Non-WoW / HG:L diablo 2 type gameplay
I've tried wow several times now, i can't get into it, dont know why. I played the HG:L demo when it came out, but from what i've heard the online aspect sucks terribly. So, i'm open to suggestions, i want something with the hack and slash gameplay, semi-complex char/skill creation, and the big one : Randomized items. That's one of the things that drove me nuts about wow, was all of the high levels had damn near the same gear...well, not saying that it didn't happen in D2, but it was different, the stats varied. And preferably something easy to pick up and play. I'm military so I don't exactly have too much free time these days. A few hours a night that's about it.

The game you explained is actually HG:L. It has every feature you want. I dont think you gave it a real shot and playing a demo just isnt giving the game justice sorry. Im about a week into HG:L and my lvl 26 engie is ALOT of fun.
Im a 3+ year WoWer and I cant explain what a refreshing game this is. The amount of flak i see on alot of HG:L boards is the problems they are having with online. Me personally im just fine playing HG:L for a while and not going online no matter what the features are. I cant seem to finish patching which is a problem alot of ppl have had since 1.2 from what ive seen, but i play the single player and have some serious fun. So many random items to find. So many mobs to mop up. I keep finding myself hurtin for the next legendary. You must play to really enjoy it and i mean PLAY.
Am I some elite HG:L king. Absolutely not. I have one char over lvl 10. I read the boards alot and was kinda turned off on the game for a while. My mistake really. I'll sit here having a killfest on single player while they work out more kinks. Ive played MMOs for a good 8 years now maybe longer im not sure( start at AC1 and EQ1 then work your way up to now) and this game is just what I need right now.

Yep Mythos is a great game and it will be in open beta pretty soon now so if you just wait for a couple of weeks you'll be able to play the game. Hope you enkoy it !

I'm in the closed beta. I just haven't put much time into it. I'll check it out agian.
