Cheers mate:) Afer reading through Blizzards story page on Warcraft I became very excited, cause it sounded like a cool universe, and cool background history.

Though there is one major thing I cannot really, get to make sense in my little brain(Not that, it is anything new:P)!

The hate, between the two factions! I just don't see it habben! In the end of the Warcraft: TFT Frozen Throne bonus campaign, Proudmores mad father died!

So why the battle again? The Orcs and the Forsaken was free of the burning Legions coruption! And I was under the impression that the Night Elfs and Taurens just wanted to be "One" With nature and stuff!

Why do they want to fight again? If Orcs and Undead are not evil per se, then why? The little Trolls seem to make a little impact on the overall story, mon!

It makes me wonder! One of the things I would love to see in WoW was massive battles in PvP! When over 500 Alliance players come to the gates of Ogrimmar, in an epic battle, somehow like the end battle in the Lord of the Rings, it would be cool to really have a reason to fight..

Orc: "Lok-ta ogar!! Come my warriors... for the HORDE!!!!!"

Undead: "die... foul humans..."

Orc 2: "FOR THE HORDE!!!!!!!"

Troll: "We where we fighting again? Please tell me I forgot.. Something about... ehh..?"

Orc: "... Just fight, you foul troll! I hate trolls.. get under the bridge!!! for the horde!!!!!"

I have seen all the intros, but is it possible that their are story parts still in development?

I heard that the sneak peak video, behind the scenes thingy was for some kind of super intro! First I thought this was CG movies for major quests! Like maybe an end sequence you could see when getting lvl 60 and maxing your hero class, and then get an "I win" Feeling or story driven quest or something..

But I heard it was for some kind of long intro! Would it be possible that we would see lots of more story! 4 years have passed sinse Warcraft 3...(how many sinse TFT bonus campaign ended?) - So I guss stuff could have habben, but would it not be a little strange if they started to fight in war again because some little crazy human sailor admiral got crazy and decided to kill the green skins?

First of all, there are 4 years between TFT and WoW. We have no idea what happened then , and the story for that chapter(chapter 6) still isn't on the website.So a lot of things might have happened.

About the races :

The Undead's only purpose , is to destroy the humans(because the Legion programmed them to do so )

The Troll jus hate everyone. I wont be suppised if they turn against the Horde someday.

Though the effect of the Legion no more..er...affects the orcs , they hate between them and the humans will never die i think.

About the Tauren - Since the Orc kinda saved them (or just their leader i think) , they're now in service of the Orcs, and the Horde

About the raids - The biggest raid(PvP attack) will be of no more than 18/36 people , and Blizzard said it!! You just lose a sense of purpose if there are any more!!

First off, its in everyone's nature to make war. That said, I think you will make your character and that will put you on one side or the other. You know who your enemy is and can make war when you would like by going out and looking for it. Then, at the discretion of the dev team, during any one of thier main monthly updates they can always write in a story arc that will try and inspire people to go out and make war if they want. Not to mention that there is still ample time for them to release a big story/intro just to wet everyone's appetite before the game launches. Either way, I don't think Blizzard will let anyone down, just remember that not everyone wants to PvP so they are trying to cater to everyone and make it fun for everyone.

But there are pictures of massive raids on the PvP server with at least 50-70 people!!! Why are they taking away large battles:( How is 36 player mutliplayer massively?:(

I guss that also have to mean that PVP deathmatch will be turned off on PVP server once it goes live! Very sad to hear though... Warcraft has always been about hugh cool battles, and since PvP seemed fixed on group and massive raids with the scissor, rock and papir combo, it made sense..

In SWG we tried this allot! Unfortunate Sonys server could just not take that many kind of people. On Chimerea we once got over 800 players for the servers largest event to date, all lined up to fight PvP On Dantooine... Server crashed though, and the event got blown.. simply to many:(

But I thought that WoW was much more nimple! Not advanced hippy grapichs that could spoil the fun of massive battles.... Look at DAOC! Awsome massive sieges on keeps and towns!

I hope that Blizzard will reconsider this!:(

But the Forsaken is not evil? Dont they just wanna live... Or be undead.. without getting killed? They where not the Lich kings slaves after Arthas took the Ice Thrown...

Which reminds me - What will habben with Arthas in the game?:o Can you visit him? Because I heard that in some kind of expansion, his army and him might become an faction aswell as the Illidan and NAGA forces + the blood elves... woot:o)

Can we even trust server events? I tell you... In SWG we had so few events that we could count them yearly on one hand:(

I have never heard of events and story arcs being a success in the long run besides AC1 but I might be wrong?

They havent released the storyline for WoW yet only the fact that it takes place 4 years after TFT. Other then that we dont really know why everyone is fighting again but it was inevitable. I doubt the world would have any peace for a long period of time.

I cant wait to see the cinematic intro to WoW cuz it will tell alot about whats happening (hope so they did it with WC3/TFT) plus blizzards cinematics kick ass . Have to say the best in the business IMO.

Yeahh Blizzard cinematics are cool, but Squaresoft got some darn fine ones too!

Does anyone know how the intro will be? Will it be like a prequel story thing that tells the warcraft story or something?

But if not even story is finished does it not mean that it will take many many months again before WoW is remotely finished?:(

2005.. 2006 release?:(

The story is the first thing they worked on. They just haven't released many details about it. It is set for release in November/Decemberish time, and I think that is what time it will release.

And I live in europe lol... It will come out much much later in europe!

No import for me if Americans and Europeans cant play on same server:(

They mixed up DAOC which I thought was not cool!

I loved the fact that in SWG I could play with americans if I wanted too! Eclipse was a great mix of both! The unofficial Euro server for a long time!:)

I made this sig... but the animation I found at a guildsite... only rogue one they had so I thought Id use it =D.... I just made it grey scale

The color one looks better alone, but I think it would look pretty strange if it was color where the grey one is, so I think you did a great job with it. What guild site was it? Do they have any more like that? They are .GIFs, right?

Yeah they are gifs... but only other ones they had was of a druid...

Yeah I would make a buttload of them If I had the beta... I have fraps...adobe premiere....adobe photoshop CS just no WoW Beta to make em =P
