Why play PS?

I heard PS is lag as hell , is it true?

If it is why play a laggy MMOFPS?

    Well heres my PC specs:

    Windows ME
    AMD Athlon XP 2700+
    512 RAM
    ATI Radeon 9600 XT
    40 GB HD

    Will i be able to play PS without lag?

    And why is this game so cool?

    Told ya, noone will answer cuz this game is lag as hell.
    Even worse with 512 RAM

    Will I play PS with 512 RAM, Radeon 9600 XT, and AMD 2700+ without much trouble?

    Should i buy Core Combat?why?

    lag wont be too bad , they've made some changes so people with 512mbs can play almost lag free, turn down your settings and you should be good , minor lag spikes here and there but other then that , will be pretty good

    I would rarely run into lag spikes with 512mb of RAM, I recently upgraded to 1Gig of RAM because of the bad lag in galaxies.

     

    now, with PS, no lag whatsoever.

    my current spec is:

    Nvidia GeForceFX 5700LE 256MB

    AMD Athalon 2600 1.9 ghz @ 333mhz FSB

    1Gig PC 2700 DDR RAM @ 333mhz FSB

    ok 1st...stfu u dont need to say it twice we can c ur postsimage.god i hate it when people do that. second how bout telling us what kind of comp ur running? i got the game to run on my 633mhz with 500~ ram (dunno the incriments they come in =/) so im sure every1 else can do it....btw yes u will lag my brother in law has a comp with 1.something ghz and 1 gig ram and he still lags and locks up. just find a friend who ahs the acct key...i jsut got my CD today 4 my actual acct.

    sry 4 the flames but thats not osmething id expect out of a mature community....blizzards mayb....but not a site about mmorpgs.

    well i got PS and im running it on a 9600 radeon 256mb and 1 gig ram and its fine, but u also have to put into consideration that ur on Highspeed internet, if ur gonna play PS u need highspeed or else..its pointless..good pc and 56k = Lag city :) am i correct? :)::::28::

    Thats totally untrue.

    Here is the spces i use for PS.Athlon 2600xp,1GB RAM and radeon 9800pro.Frame rate facing wall- 140.FPS in large continent locked fight over 1 base - lowest 20fps(on turning into the crowd ).

    Lag wise never.Once in a while my HDD access but this is always due to my laziness to defragment.Once i do that its plain sailing again.

    It been said many times.I see a lot of people talk about lag and such.Truth is this game is demanding on a system.If you got a good system then its perfectly fine.

    Oh there was the odd crash to desktop recently but it just been fixed.

    As for 512RAM been playable yes it is playable.However,you will have some lag in massive battles which if it was a MMORPG not a MMOFPS you would not even bother.But as it is a FPS you will wanna top up on at least another 256 RAM.

    I have a friend playing with 768RAM and a geforce4200 and he has no complaints either.
