Seriously, though, stay vigilant.... you'll get one.
Get comrade lads. It really paid off for me. Download a really loud and annoying .wav file and use it as your instant message alert sound. Then keep your volume up full whilst comrade runs in the background. It works and you dont have to sit in front of your comp. GL lads!
Yeah I thought earlier that both batches had gone out before I checked (8AM EST). Apparently the site was reflecting what would be going out. So when I looked I should have read the site as saying 'Two batches to be distributed on 04/24/08' vs 'Two batches gone, GL sucker!'
Now the first batch says 'Distributed' vs "Confirmed'
Obviously they went fast..figures that I decided to get started early on my gardening today. Oh well.

They came out at about 10:04 AM EST (7:04 AM PST). I work with computers all around me so i had the lucky ability to refresh the screen every 2 minutes. I figured they would try to get the first batch out early so when 10 came i refreshed around every 30 seconds. Got mine 4 minutes later.
I woke up and went on the site and got mine this morning i checked both times yesterday and missed it and it seemed it lasted longer this morning. But anyway I finally got one just check often as it goes on I figure they will not go AS fast but not sure.

No big deal to me at all. It's Funcom's rule, not mine. I don't know how they can possibly even enforcel that sort of rule. I was simply offering a suggestion as to why you might not get in the beta if you divulged your age. If I remember correctly, the age of consent in Norway is 16, unless it's changed. It might only be some sort of rule in the US, too, for all I know.

i won't lie about this, i usually say im 18 or older on internet sites. and on all sites related to AoC, so that can't be the problem why i never have recieved a key even though i've been in most beta key giveaway events. seems just like my luck is very bad when it comes to AoC
