Fileplanet: Have I missed anything? cannot play until May 2nd?

AOC is installed, ready to play on my PC. I have a CD Key from fileplanet.
I do not have a user name or password to access open beta.
open beta starts may 1st.
registration begins may 2nd according to a link I followed through the AOC game client.
so I cannot play until the 2nd?
where/when do i register this cd key? will i play on the 1st or 2nd?
thanks for any help- im a bit confused with the 2 dates.

Ya i was confused about that too open beta starts may 1 but registration is may 2nd..whats that about?

Pretty sure the May second registration is for the pre-order items you just have to go to the beta account site and enter your key from FP and it gets you set up.
