I would expect XP gain to scale upwards to the harder end as leveling goes up. Your little bird broke NDA if he/she told you anything however.

I (personally) am not concerned with a grind if I am enjoying the killing along the way. Obviously the repetition of killing the same mobs over and over will eventually bore anyone, but because this game appears to balance the grind and pvp, I think people won't be overly ticked off from the leveling aspect of this game. Everybody wants to hit the level cap ASAP, but to my knowledge, MMO's generally take several months before end game content is actually beta tested and worked out anyways so getting to level 80 in the first two weeks is moot point.

Im thinking that would be stupid of them since they already said how dumb it was to have to kill the same mobs over repeatedly like in wow to lvl and this close to launce I doubt they added that many more quest. Wasnt it already as hard to lvl as wow?
maybe they did increase the xp, but if they did hopefully they also had enough quests to begin with

I think it would be a good Idea for Funcom to keep everyone in the solo content as long as they can. That way they have more time from keeping people from seeing what the game is like, and can sell more copies before the judgements and bashing.
