"Anti-War, Pro-Peace" Heckler pounds on disabled girl

EnigmaEnigma Member UncommonPosts: 11,384

A 22 year old pro peace, anti war began to heckle Laura Bush at a book reading event and when the disabled woman told him to shut up because this event was about children and books and not about the war, the pro-peace advocate began to beat on the wheelchair bound disabled girl.

The story

anti-war, pro-peace my ass.

Wow. Clear signs of a mental disorder. And you know of which one I speak.

    That guy was an asshole.

But of course, we balanced and sensible people, know that not all pro-peace/anti-war people are like that.

Suggesting such a thing would only show that the one suggesting it has a very small dick.

Again, Madace, your thread starts off good but then totally makes you look like a complete fool.

Of course all pro-peace/anti-war isnt like this. Im pointing this one out.   Try not to read too deep into this story to grab out certain "conspiracy attempts."  And stop repeating that last sentence over and over in some of your posts; otherwise people will think you have penis envy. Unless you do, then hey, ok.

Why do I have a nagging suspicion this news story is going to be use over and over again to characterize peace activists...

But really, I think we all know what this is truly about. Its about the lack of defensive measures equipted on the average wheelchair. Now imagine if there was an electric outer casing on the wheelchair, 10,000 volts later the perp would have been subdued and the small children could have efficiently mobbed that man...

What is this world comming to.

I think Munki is the only one who really understands this thread.  But I thnk 10,000 volts through the wheelchair would probably do more damage to the cripled in the wheelchair rather then the attacker.  I think we would need flame throwers, or wheel spikes.. like on a chariot.

What I find most interesting about this story, is the fact it that it didn't actually happen.  Actually what happened was a guy said to the Bush mother and Daughter was "How do you feel about your father being responsible for 9/11".  Then the security forces rushed it to protect the ears of our royalty, hauling the evil "freedom of speecher" off to jail.   There was never any wheel chair girl, and no assault.  All made up.  Fascinating really.

Bollocks. If you weren't insinuating anything, why not title the thread like it really is? "Nutjob flails feebly at a disable woman, and fails"?

  • LaserwolfLaserwolf Member Posts: 2,383

The guy is clearly an idiot, and also a fanatic. However, I am inclined to doubt the Post story. I also doubt the father just started ramming the idiot with his daughter's wheelchair. I just think it was a simple case of 2 hot-heads coming together to cause trouble.

I agree that the title of the thread is a bit pathetic though. One of the things I hate most about politics is when someone from either side tries to incite others with exaggeration or the twisting of facts. To me it shows contempt and a hell of a lot of disdain for those you are trying to incite. Unfortunately this kind of thing works.

The great majority of voters would tell you they absolutely hate negative campaigning, but it still works like a charm.

Yeah right it was made up.  He punched the girl in front of a crowd of witnesses. Looks like you watched the youtube video of the guy saying he didn't do it.  I bet if i made a youtube video of deathrow i would get a similiar response.

This is actually an interesting case.  There are strategic moves being made here that go far above the relevance of the people involved. But you shouldn't think about it, because its just another thing in life thats way over your head.  Go back to the Post and read about "Woman gives birth to Bat-child" or whatever todays hot story is.

I hjave no doubt the courts will sort it out.  And the slander suits will be as well.  Though it won't hurt the financial interests of the media outlets involved, they'll be compensated for their efforts.

Okay... *Why* are you "pointing this out" if you know that, like any group of people, the "pro-peace/anti-war" movement has its share of whack-jobs?

As far as I'm concerned, the only reason for posting this and making a big deal of it is an attempt to demonize *all* the people who are against our occupation of Iraq. Guilt by association has a long and successful history in public discourse.

Why I support Barack Obama: I want to stop Hillary, I am impressed with his ideas and ideals and that he has an amazing wife and listens to her. He plays it a bit too safe for me and I hate his lack of leadership on the war. But no one is perfect. I trust him more than anyone else in the race. I trust that he can stir it up and lead us forward to a new and more tolerant america, one with a commentment to her people and not to the money. I believe he is smart enough and disconnected from those in power enough to make this happen.

The code pink people are the biggest punch of Di**heads I have ever seen.  They remind me of the Ladybug group in an episode of Family Guy.

These people are the results of hippies who smoked pot during their pregnancy and gave birth to complete retards and then grew up and went to colleges that has the world's most stupid and idiotic professors teach. Red Doper Diaper Babies as Doc Savage puts it.
