The Darkfall conundrum
The year is closing on summer fast and will be here before we know it, and Darkfall will still remain exactly the same as it always has. Nothing will have changed, nothing ever does.
I'm even willing to wager that if we come upon this exact day next year, that it would be as if things were stuck in time.
Next year, new people will take up the Darkfall cause and preach it, without knowing what the previous Darkfall followers already know. And they'll begin making the same claims the others have made before them.
No one really knows the real reason behind the mystery. It's an unbelievable MMOG story. Nothing about the development of Darkfall Online makes even the slightest bit of sense. Nothing. It's really pretty puzzling.
After all these years, and lots of promises, not one single well known , credible gaming industry person can actually say that a working build of Darkfall exists. That is an indisputable fact. And it's also a really strange way to market your product ----- by not showing it to anyone.
The mystery remains... and will probably always remain.

Darkfall dev's are a joke. Good job to the Darkfall dev's for bullshiting people and stringing people along for so long. Thank god I woke up long ago. With Mortal Online, Earthrise and Fallen Earth in the works..... Darkfall looks more pathetic than ever. Darkfall dev's think that they have somthing so special that they dont need to tell anyone anything. Why did they even tell anyone in the first place? I know..... they wanted to see how long they could string fools along. Darkfall dev's think of me or anyone following the game as piles of crap.
Darkflop / Darkfail, I cant wait for people to start calling it that.

Technically, for it to "flop" or "fail" it would actually have to "exist" or "release".
Perhaps "DarkIreallywishthiswerereal" is more fitting. OR "Darkwhydoestrustinghurtsomuchmommy"
Just clearing that up a bit.

Good thing that Aventurine doesnt force anyone to wait for their game. It would be utterly stupid to wait for something and then just give up. As that act would make it go away.
Right now im waiting for Darkfall, Fallen Earth, Earthrise and W.E.L.L Online. None of those are made by a major company. Most of them are made in countrys that are not often thought for theit amazing computer knowhow. But does that in any way mean anything for the future of MMOs?
Just pick the ones you think sounds good enough to play.....then wait¨for it to be released. Not much you can do. Maybe you could make your own MMO, and have some people here on the MMORPG.com whining about it.
Aventurine might not "force" anyone to follow their game but they are sure good at stringing people along and deceiving them into following it... Not much difference if you ask me.
