Have they made any announcement as to how many character we can have? will it be a set number per account or per server?

    This may not be accurate for release but i saw a screenshot from the PVP Beta weekend of character creation, and there were 8 slots available.

    Nothing has been officially stated, but I've heard 8 characters per account tossed around for nearly a year.  Of course, that's got people pissed because there's 12 classes in game.  But w/e.  It's not in stone yet.

    per server. There are multiple locations and types of servers. I'm not sure how many overall characters you are allowed. WoW it was 6 or so a server andabout 50 across all servers.
