I am doing a study on game environments, and I am wondering how people feel in game. Can you please answer this poll. Also I know that different financial situations in-game affect this too, but try to think of the sims online as a whole.

At first I was a little bit scared. Then I was pretty agitated because this damn shape constantly floated above my head. My wife came in and I started yelling gibberish at her...and I got pretty pissed off. I wanted to cool off so I went into the shower. My wife showed up and took off all her clothes, but I couldn't see anything on her because she was all blurry. I went and took a dump in the toilet but couldn't see where my hands were going because it was all blurry down there. I didn't know what was going on, so I got pretty worried. After that I went to the kitchen and got some food from the fridge. I didn't feel like cleaning my plate and such so I just laid it on the floor. I felt pretty lazy so I went to go watch some TV. I turned on the TV but nothing understandable came from it. While I was sitting their I was told that I had missed a day of work and that if I missed anymore, I might be fired. I got pretty pissed at that. I went to go lay down on my bed to get some rest. I passed through the kitchen and my food had flies on it already. It didn't bother me, so I just pass it by. I come by my wife and we talk more gibberish. I can't understand a word coming from either of our mouths, but these bubbles with pictures keep appearing over our heads. I'm very confused by this, but I brush it off and go to my bed. I try to go to sleep, but for some reason I can't. I am told that I do not need any sleep. That's when I realize I'm playing a game, and it's not REAL LIFE!

Excuse me, I thought this was a poll for people who play TSO, The Sims Online, not sims offline.

they both are the same thing only with the difference that real people visit your home and the nieghborhood is alot bigger.

Wow, you've obviously never played, there are a million differences, please try to hold back your comments when you don't know what you're talking about. Thank you

LOL... That post I made was entirely fictional, all made-up. If you couldn't tell, I was not trying to be serious.

I played alot during the beta, the only difference is insted of an annoying AI control; it is human controlled which allows for better interactions, and the money source comes from those pizza tables and stuff similiar instead of jobs. The neighborhood is limited to 255X255 houses, and there can be a maximum of I think 24 people on a property at once, and only 8 people can be apart of the property. This is the game right? What exactly makes it different from any other "The Sims" game aside from the multiplayer aspect?

Dang, there are people posting here again, I gotta start checking this one more often. I did acomplished because I am rather pleased with my little niche of the world I built. I have a very nice traditional beach house with a brick clothing shope on the lot.

As for you saying the Sims Online is the same as The Sims, you really don't have a clue. I suggest you play it for awhile before you draw conclusions on it.

The thing is I have played it, and if I am missing anything please inform me.

No idea what your missing, how long have you played it? I suggest you try it for a few weeks and don't just sit at your own place. Go out shopping, working, and skilling.

In the original sims you can increase your skills, then apply them to a greater job. The more people working on thier skills the faster it grows. I mentioned that the work skills are found with those job items like telephones and decipher stations. I played before they added the casino stuff and the shopping racks.

its still far different then sims offline, but if you don't feel so, thats cool. You apparently have played that game and thats your opinion. I can respect that.
