The dynamic lighting of the sky going through the torched area (in part 1) was cool -- otherwise I wonder why someone took the time to show off that footage.
It's not really intended to impress those not already enamoured with the game imo, simply to drip-feed those of us who are eagerly awaiting our next fix of WOTLK information.

Yeah what's with an expansion pack looking like the game it's expanding? I was expecting like, a MMOFPS hybrid with RTS and RPG elements with giant freaking lazer beams and explosions and shit.

It shocks me people dont know the difference between an expansion and a whole new game.. please name me 1 mmo that has changed its gfx style between expansions... cus that is all you can judge wotlk on based on these very poor quality cam recorded videos
Imo the new expansion looks like the good old wow, which gives me a better feeling about the new expansion. I cant wait for i tbh. Going to be good. The fact is blizzard never rush anything out b4 its done unlike a certain company releasing the most overhyped failure in mmo history soon to be released.

Thats good. I am really happy Blizzard got rid of the scifi outlands scenario, and all that spacey thing crap.
It seems wotlk will be the very good old Azeroth with the proper epic fantasy feeling, give me back the feel of Black Rock mountain!!
I am 28 now, Outland was a letdown and disliked theme for me, and I am rejoiced for having back old fantasy environment as high end scenario.
Only thing missing is the footage of the Lich Boars and Lich Murlocks. Oh don't forget the Lich Nagas, Lich Wolves, Lich Bears, Lich Sheep, Lich Bandits, Lich Thieves, Lich Crocodiles, Lich Pirates, Lich Gorillas, Lich Troll Witches, Lich Raptors, and Lich/Human hybrids too...
