runescape. or other mmorpg?

ok, so my friend thinks runescape is one of the best mmorpgs. and i think its one of the worst. so im having a poll to see what is better, or at least wat other people think.

y would they ban it? its just a poll. as far as i know there isint anything wrong with that....
Runescape is unique in that it takes a lot of the extremely old features of MMOs and a lot of new features and mashes them into one. Not only that new content in it is just that, it's not another raid instance with a new map, boss, and gear or another 30 fetch and retrieve quests. It's actually isn't very surprising that people would say Runescape is a very good MMO after a stint or two into WoW/EverQuest II/Grinders.
The only thing that can get a normal* runescaper off of it is a 'world' pretty much the hopefuls would be EvEOnline, WurmOnline, A tale in the desert, a few text games, if they have 3d modeling or programming abilities second life, and maybe vanguard(but I won't touch it till there's a trial).
*ie the ones that aren't obsessed with rogues in WoW on a PvP server.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
It was a pretty good game, but now the game has no freedom. SOE, woops, I mean Jagex (gotta stop getting them mixed up..) messed up the game with the updates they made back in November. People only think the game is good because they haven't tried any other MMOs. Once they start playing other games, they'll realize the only decent part of Runescape was the PvP.

I myself played Runescape back in the day and I still find myself crawling back to every now and again. Its not because I lack other MMO Gameplay because I don't. I am in a clan for MMO's and play quite a bit. I wouldn't say that Runescape is the worst MMO by far. However I wouldn't say it is the best either. I think it is Definitely top 5 for free gameplay. I hope that helps ya out.
well, runescape is a good game if your not a big fan of open PVP, ever sence the new "bounty hunter" mini game the PVP is jsut that...a mini game, you get ganged up on my clans. if your alone dont take ANY items your attached to, i think its a good game because unlike most free MMO'S you dont have alot of new players begging for free items. because theres a 3000 item value you can give, or receve every i think half hour. i personaly like it because unlike i like it because unlike most MMOS you DONT have a class that decides what you can and cant do...all players can do anything the others can with the right ammount of training. also there are a lot of different skills that are used in a way i havent seen in ANY other MMO. youd have to play it and test it out, and im trying to disgribe it in a way somone whos never even heard of runescape can understand.
