And I have an 8800 GTS 512 for my graphics card, now my question is this, would it be worth it going SLI with another 8800 GTS 512 even though though it's going to be 8x 8x and not full 16x 16x. Will I see huge improvement? And also would I be able to run Age Of Conan max lol.
Other specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+
4 gigs of 800mhz RAM
Windows Vista Ultimate x64

You would only see minimal improvement, I don't know how well your setup would run AoC on max now, but it would only score you an extra few FPS.
Not a lot of difference mate. If you have the money buy an 8800 GTX and keep the GS for a backup, you would notice a larger difference from that.
Depends if the game was made with multi-gpu setup in mind. If so you can see scaling of up to 90%. However, not many developers design a game to do this, just like multi-threading and 64-bit. Usually its alot of time to cater to only a portion of its audience.
The 8x doesn't really matter since most PCI-e video cards really only use 8 lanes. So I would ask is it necessary and would a developer like funcom take the time to add in multi-gpu support. Usually only developers planning to sell the engine do such a thing.
