Warning: WoW beta accounts for sale on E-Bay

I just happen to find at least 15 WoW beta accounts that are auctioned on E-bay and people bid up to $300 US.  Are you not aware WoW beta accounts will be deleted when the final retail version of WoW is released?  Get out of here..stop the fraud

    They are so desperate to play wow now that they will pay 300+ dollars to get into beta.

    There was this one guy willing to trade WoW beta for Lineage 2 account.

    I had lvl 35 dwarf with 13 million adena.  So we traded... Except he didn't give me his beta... and kept my account.

    After a lot of thinking, I finally got my account back.  I was about to take him to court because it technicaly was on ebay.

    I got his phone number, address, ip address, and email.  I'll post later for all the hackers out there.

    It is kind of interesting to see how much people are willing to pay for this game.  There's no game in existence I would pay 500 dollars for!

    Only 15 accounts on Ebay?  There was like 50 last I looked.

    This is old news image For any big MMORPG that comes out, Ebay will have lots of things there that people are willing to sell, as long as there are people willing to buy. After WoW does finally get released (only God knows when that will be..) I am sure there will be people selling other items, along with real accounts. This will go on forever, no matter what game it is until people stop spending real cash for virtual items. Just do a check on ebay for Lineage 2. It is sick.. I was going to get Lineage 2 when it came out, but I changed my mind on that due to the lack of CS and how they let farmers take over. Well, people who buy that crap on ebay is what ruins that game. That's a whole different story on its own. I will stop rambling now! image

    What else is new? People will sell anything on Ebay to make a quick buck. What's funny about the people buying the accounts is that they will eventually will be swiped. Plus, when the open beta comes out, they really only paid for their impatience.....image

    GJ on reclaiming your account, i wouldn't have done the trade, unless i was 100% sure it was legit, i hear L2 sucks anyways, probably definitly worth WoW beta.

     

    But, i'm one of the few people that wouldn't sell of my account on ebay, unless there was like one day left, then i'd sell on ebay for like $50imageAlso, unlike most testers, i'd actually report bugs, and give suggestions, but guess Blizz is too busy to even see how old the people who signed up are, and if they're selling their account, which should be replaced and given to a more deserving player, instead of someone blowing $300+

    Although the majority of the gamers are between 18-25 I still don't think they would appreciate porn in the game.  Also, how many kids are buying "M" games?  Oh well, get ready for little kids biatching in WoW. "Bnet kiddies" are what they go by.

    Yes yes the whining of little immature brats and lame ebay bought characters and equipment. Quite a classic yet never boring subject....Despite those idiots ill still have a good time first time ill play a game in the beginning beginning ya know.........and ebay bought characters are so lame same with equiptment bought on ebay. image

    Well its pretty stupid because lets see its august so we have a couple of months left in this year... and it says on their site that they are gonna release a open beta... So i guess those people were serouisly desperate

    With 300 dollars he couldve made his own private server :D
