All right, I know it's strange to start an application like this, and definitely to continue it in the manner I'm doing it right now. However, I think I've gained your interest enough to read a few more lines. We are a big bunch of people who are active and fun, and we have a great and hearty community of gamers who will play on a PVP server.
Unique
Lotka Volterra is a unique guild in Age of Conan in three distinct ways.
First of all, we offer a fun and different guild structure to what you see in other guilds.
Second, we offer a good community with hearty members, but most of all experienced members.
Finally, we offer all players a chance to join us by accepting both hardcore and casual gamers, and still being able to give both types of players what they want and need.
Duchy

We have decided to take a different approach to the AoC guilds; we are not calling ourselves a guild. We are a Duchy, with a territory to defend and more territories to claim in the name of King Conan! It's a fun Roleplay twist for those who like a bit of roleplay but not full. You can say that Lotka Volterra has a Roleplay Exerior with a hardcore Interior, making it a lovely mix.
Structure
What's so special about our structure then? Well we have divided the memberbase into ingame 'army' and outofgame 'administration'. A member is part of the army, and can choose to take various roles in the adminitration, giving them the ability to actually affect things they care about.
To you this means if you join the Duchy of Lotka Volterra, you can actually on a very early level make a difference, instead of just following orders!
Experience
To make things better, almost all members in Lotka Volterra are over 20+ years old with quite a few years of hardcore raiding and gaming up our sleeves. We know what it takes to create a good guild, and this shows in our records, where we have managed to excel in most games we have played. It gets even better, cause we are not a bunch of stuck-up people, but hearty and warm persons who knows how to have a good time!
To the casual gamer this can be a bit scary to game with hardcore players, but think of the experience we can offer you by just playing with us instead. For the hardcore player we can offer a sense of finally being kin with someone.
Mixed Gamers
Some guilds out there take pride in being only hardcore, or being for only casual gamers, thinking they offer you the ultimate solution. They are not. By giving you casual and hardcore gamers in the same guild you won't have to switch guild when you feel like being either of the two from time to time. We divide our guild structure up in two different battlegroups; the hardcore gamers, and the casuals (this does of course not mean our members doesn't talk to each other).
[size=4]This means that if you are a hardcore gamer you won't have to feel tied up with a casual framework, and if you are casual you won't have to feel you must overachieve and thus lack in your real life, bound to a . The perfect choice for anyone!
Goal
What other goal could be better then to be the best guild on the server while giving members as much freedom as they can possibly have, and give our best to incorporate fun into every activity we have in the guild? None. So that is our goal!
Good guild
So to conclude, we are not some posers with all talk but no action. We offer fun and a sense of belonging in a warm and hearty community of gamers to you.
