    I think there are already enough shows similar to this one that plays on the stupidity of people to generate humor. In other words, it's not that great of a show at all. I'm sure that's why it was cut in the first place, amazing how people began to like it once it was taken off...

    It is funny, but it's not the greatest show ever. The show it copies off of is better than it, The Simpsons.

    I mean c'mon, they both have a dad who's stupid and fat, the mom who is always right, 3 kids, including one baby that tends to be "different."

    Family guy and Simpsons humor is very diffrent, also Simpsons died off a while ago... now all their new episodes blow more than a whale(does that make sense).... Also Family guy was taking odd due to its ludeness, not the fact that it was unpopular...

    Simpsons is more serious and realistic humor. Family Guy is random and much more witty.

    If you think Simpsons is the greatest show ever, please look at the last few seasons. The show is doing horrible. Family Guy, after being canceled on Fox, has made a comeback with Adult Swim. Now it's on TBS and Fox regularly at prime time hours. I wouldn't be surprised if Family Guy takes the Simpson's spot.

     If Simpsons didn't have so much money, they would have dropped out 3 seasons ago. Not to say Simpsons are bad, they used to be my favourite show. Watching seasons 1-8 were great.

     As for Family Guy, they are really going to start picking up over the next year. I don't remember the exact number, but i think they suprisingly sold around 32 million copies of the dvd, and that's what got the networks curious. Although there are so many fans, there are so few networks that play it to build it's popularity.

    I had never seen it till the other day. Everyone always talks about it so I gave it a try.  Most retarded cartoon ever, I thinked i laughed one time.  Simpsons -funny, South Park -funny, Spongebob -funny, Family guy- not funny.

    Yes, god yes. I own the DVD sets and watch them just about every day and keep finding stuff to laugh about. I love Family Guy.

    Personaly I loved Futurama. Witty and stupid in one. Even had moral in them. A classic has been made.

    Hm. Yes, it is a great show and Seth is coming out with, I think two more new seasons either this year or some time soon on Fox due to the extreme rate of DVD sales after it started playing on Cartoon Network.

    I love Brian. He is sexy. Then I saw Seth... and now I love him, too.

    But yay for new seasons and new episodes!

    Hehe. I cannot stand Spongebob... but umm.. funny shows.. erm... um. I think they have mostly been mentioned, or the ones I am thinking of. I mean, Spongebob is cute and all, he just doesn't do anything for me.
