THIS GAME ROCKS !! FINALLY SOMETHING FRESH AND NEW

in Age of Conan: Unchained

When I first played the open beta i was really

disapointed with all the low, hacking FPS.

But as i learned why it happens and how to fix it,

then the experience is rock solid.

This game is awesome. The graphics is mind blowing,

and combat is really fun.

The solo player quests at night time was a bold

but very good move by Funcom. It really adds the

feeling that you are participate in a storyline.

Congratulation Funcom for bringing something new

and fresh. You have done an excellent job

    I have only one question. How long did you play the game for? If this is your first impression, OK, but I've felt that way often with new games only to be disappointed later.

    Glad to see another person who really enjoys all these things.  I was beginning to think there was something wrong with me for liking the stuff that so many were hating on.  Let's rock Hyboria!!

    TBH...the only people hating on it are the WAR fanboyz (and yes, i put a Z at the end on purpse) who don't want this to succeed so they can say "If AOC was smart like WAR, they would keep pushing the release date back." and also, the WoW fanBOYZ., who don't want people leaving WoW to play AoC.

     

    Yes, I play WoW, I am not going to deny it, but i enjoy playing it. I tried AoC, but it isn't my style. I like the cartoony graphics, and the simplistic playstyle. But, all the 10 year old WoW players don't want people to leave. I hope a lot of younger, more immature playrs are turned on by the M rating, so they will try and play that instead :P

    i am no war fanbois....great generalization there. I was hoping for both, and now i am not looking forward to either

    It's not mostly WAR fanbois its mostly the people who thought they were getting a view of the game not testing it. It's Funcom's fault for the bad publicity by calling it open beta.

    Edit: Looks like mommy or daddy bought or will buy you the game, great to know parents are doing their jobs these days! *thumbs up*

    [[ DEAD ]] - Funny - I deleted my account on the site using the cancel account button.  Forum user is separate and still exists with no way of deleting it. Delete it admins. Do it, this ends now.

    The game does really rock.  It has a ton of issues, but the CORE is there.  If they patch and work on improving performance, it will be a force.

    You hit the nail right on the head. It's terrible to watch different fanboys say empty lies about a game. AoC, looking at it as a game with out comparing to anything else is bloody awesome. Fanboy or no fanboy you can't deny that.

    I agree.  You can see the potential.  Luckily, the issues are all performance related, nothing to do with the core mechanics.  It will take time to streamline everything.. but I'm very happy with what I've seen so far.  I maxed one character out and have done the majority of quests available.  I have another character about half way up.  Probably over 20 hours of total gameplay.. I didn't pay attention to my first impressions, I let time do the talking.  I am happy I gave it a real chance.
