Is there any other system to down load from, beside fun own. ?
I kind of download from 7 - 250 
Beta:
GW, WOW, AOC, DAOC, DOD, L2, VG.
Playd:
GW necro msx, WOW never maxd, DAOC reaver-paladin-cabalist-vamp max, L2 never maxd, VG never maxd.
Play:
Daoc - Paladin. Classic.

I'm downloading at 170kb/s. I have 22 hours to go.
Sigh....
I'm getting around 20-45 kb/s, usually i get 400-600 when DL from Fileplanet..
There should be more places to get this file from, and now that they give out more beta keys
i guess my speed will drop even further...

If your downloading for the ign beta there is a torrent link floating around here somewhere.
I can't even get my key its running so slow. i tried deleting my cookies and using IE but it still won't work.

Tried the bit-torrent one, but thats even slower, to many leechers, and to few seeders.

If you can, I'd honestly suggest waiting until peak hours or a couple of days to download this thing unless you find a secret torrent other than the one being spammed here. Google is a hip n' happenin' place for finding those certain things
Other than that there really isn't much you can do.
Im just using the client download off of AoC website and only getting like 80 kb/sec...1Day 7 hours to go....
If you have any antivirus software running, try disabling or turning it off. It seems the AoC patcher program has serious issues with them right now.

where's the client download on FC? Can't seem to find it.
when u entered ur key and made an account u will see an window opened where u can see ur profile infos. on the right side is a grey box where is written BETA DOWNLOAD. there u have to press on Download Manager
I'm getting about 150kbps on average... definitely not the best that could happen, but it could be worse.
It'll be another 20 hours until I get it downloaded. I'm just glad I get the chance to play finally, lol.

what a joke. everytime i get below the 100 person mark some bullshit happens that puts me back in the 800s.
at this rate my bittorrent which will be done in TWO DAYS will get done faster then this shit.

BTW do you need to queue up again if you resume with fileplanet dl manager or is it instant?

From IGN Server @ US East Coast to Germany 200-400kbs.
Yeah any techs out there have any ideas? My XP computer downloads at 175 KB/sec.
My Vista downloads crawls at 12 KB/sec. Both are on cable services.
I told Windows firewall to allow the downloader, but no change there. My XP computer has Norton Antivirus running and my Vista has Avast!Running.
If i disabled them, do I have to reboot the downloader to see an effect?
I downloaded from the torrent @ thepiratebay. Got like 1mb+ speed and a friend of mine had 6mb/second.
then again, both are swedes so meh. Could be that issue aswell.

just for kicks i've left my torrent going all night and also left the FP downloader all night -
328/1023 in line at FP (yup - still havent downloaded a SINGLE FUCKING MG)
40% done on the SLOOOW as hell torrent. seriously, that's at 66 kb/s. which is terrible, even for a torrent. theres still only 20 or so seeders, and leechers have shot up above 1000.
theres not really a way to WIN at this point,

haha i started DL on Monday at 8 am I am just now 80% im sure this is really NOT going to be worth the time spent seeing all the threads about massive lag and un playable. guess we will see.
