I upgraded to 4 gb of RAM...

...and what the hell?!?  XP 32-bit version can only handle 3 gb!! Argh!

Today i installed an additional 2 gb of ram before i start with Age of Conan and imagine my surprise when i noticed that Windows XP can only handle 3 gb. So my extra 1 gb... is it useless if i do not upgrade to 64-bit or Vista?

    Its useless if you don't install a 64-bit OS.  If you install 32-bit Windows Vista, then it will still only recognize 3GB.  This is due to the limitation of a 32-bit OS.
