Graphics = AoC all the way, no contest...But...overall gameplay, noone truly knows yet. If it's not stable on opening obviously it's not going to be a good game at all. If they can make it work, which is quite the mystery at this point whether they can or can not, than AoC will take the cake...imo.
Both have PVE and PVP servers. How ever, there are safe zones on all types of servers, so there is no true FFA in AoC like some people claim. And this claimed FFA in AoC doesn't allow you to kill your own guild mates, which is a shame.
Both have levels, quests, dungeons, story lines, end game pvp raiding, etc
IMHO, the main difference between the two (other than graphics quality) is that AoC end game PVP has a lot more options than WoW. You are playing to keep control of your player city from NPCs and battle keeps from fellow guilds.
Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is:
"Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product."
Not really easy to compare. They are completely different kinds of games. The only thing similar is they are MMOs and DO both follow the basic MMO convention.
I saw Iron man and Juno this weekend. Both were great and both followed basic movie conventions but I would not compare one to the other. Same with these two games.
I am playing in Conan beta right now too and played WOW for three years. Just no way to compare the two fairly.

My experience from playing MMOs since eq is that you wont really enjoy the next one unless you are bored with your current mmo.
If you are hardcore playing WoW and totaly into raiding then you are probably not going to be ready to give AoC a serious chance.
If you are like me and many other people who burned out on WoW and want to try SOMETHING(anything) new, AoC could be fun for years, or to fill the gap till you find something new.
Personaly i played EQ religiously untill i burned out, then i bounced between shadowbane and FFXI untill WoW.. Played WOW religiously untilli burned out and now im ready to find something new that i can fill that MMO void in my life with. Maybe it will be AoC, maybe it will be WAR, maybe it will be something that comes out a year from now.
And to people who sit and go "omg AOC is nothing like wow"
Sorry to burst your bubble but almost all rpgs have the same basic ideas expecially along the lines of classes.
The Tempest of Set in AOC is like a druid in shadowbane. Both use AOE spells for damage and can heal
The Bear shaman is semi like an enhancement shaman in WOW. Both have TOTEMS although in aoc you dont physically place a totem on the ground. Both mele as well as support group.
The dark knight or whatever its called is like a shadow knight in EQ. Basically the first mele combo you get is a lifetap spell in the form of a mele swing.
Most RPGS put a twist on the classes but you still need the basic classes if you want to have any PVE.
Tank, healers, magic/mele dps, debuff/support
AOC just tricks the players by giving classes damage abilities so they can PVP but can you honestly see a class called the priest of mithra not acting like a healer in PVE? It might be like WOW where 1 priest is the dps(shadow) priest but the others will probably heal, same with tempest and shaman.

actually unless you are in a group with some guildies you will be able to kill your own guildmates

Hmmm, interesting. I never heard that. I hope you are right, as that only makes sense. Saying that, I feel sorry for guilds then, I see a lot of back stabbing/infiltrating going on.
